Just been looking through my notes and at my last appt on Monday in the fetal heart box sheks put fhhr which I know is fetal heart heard and regular but then under that, in the same box, its got ycsa, what does that mean???

Xx

i googled it but this thread came up in google and thats about it

does it definately say ycsa? does the mw have bad handwriting? lol

I think that's what it says, I can read the rest pretty clearly its not scribbled or anything :shrugs:

He was hiding a little and the hb sounded muffled, I dunno if that would be anything to do with it

Xx

i dont think its anything to worry about as she wrote the heart beat was heard and its regular, but you could text her to put your mind at ease?

I don't have her number as it was a mw that I don't normally see, she'd come from a different surgery to cover or help out I think.

I suppose she would have said if it was anything, just found it strange

I was training to be a mw before having dd and I've never heard if that abbreviation so I'd say dot worry about it

sure it's not her initials or signature or something? Never heard of that as an abbreviation on notes and it isn't on any list that I can find by googling.

Nope, her sig is in the box next to it. Its in the fetal heart column and in the same box she's written fhhr and then ycsa underneath.........strange!
