Max, Maxwell or Maximus?!

We are 100% sure if this little one is a boy he will be called max.
I had my heArt set on Maxwell on the birth certificate and max for every day use. Oh has now told me Maxwell is a coffee make?(I don't drink it so wouldn't know)

Maxwell Maximus or Max?
Which would you use.

a girl at work just had twins and named the boy Maximus Wells. I don't think the Wells part came from Maxwell. it's a good strong name. besides, who cares if it's a coffee brand name? it's not like you're naming him Folgers.

I do like Max on its own - I like Maxwell but not so keen on Maximus.

Maxwell House is a brand of coffee but it didn't even cross my mind until I read it in your post!

definitely Maxwell! It is known as a name (boy or girl) in my area and I've never heard negative associations with the coffee. Everyone loves coffee anyways lol

My nephew is called Maxwell after his Mummy was given a cup of tea in a Maxwell house cup just before her c-section! I personally adore the name

I think Maximus is too trendy.
Maxwell is a solid name. Who cares if its a coffee maker. Didn't even cross my mind and I know the brand- it's just not one of those very known "pops-in-to-your-head-right-away" brands.
Max on its own is also a good name. Totally acceptable.

What about Maximilian? I don't feel it gets nearly enough love compared to the other "max" manes out there.

Exactly what my partner said! We're still undecided on which to use so for now he is 'max' until we decide on the longer version x

I don't like Maximus, reminds me of a gluteus Maximus...maybe because I'm a nurse. I much prefer Maxwell.
