May/Early June Mommas

I am 27.1 weeks today and I am due May 20th with #1 and it's a BOY!

Hi, I'm 29wks5days with #2 a baby boy due 2nd may. We have a little princess already an she can't wait to meet her baby brother x

Added! Do you have any date/size predictions?

We have 10 boys and 10 girls right now - how neat! And 9 yellows!

I don't have any predictions, but everyone seems to think I'm going to have a 10 pounder, I sure hope not. LOL But hey, a big healthy baby is good! This is my first, so I have no idea what to expect.

Seems a good number of us are suffering from hearburn/reflux... has anyone found anything effective for treating it? Mylanta/Tums don't even touch it for me.

I try to stick with MyLanta and Tums but if it's too strong, I take Zantac. :flow:

My guess is May 7th. 6lbs, 7oz, 20 inches.

This will be great to look back on! Please could I add my prediction of 1st June, 8lb 3oz? Thanks! (Assume I'll be really late as me and my siblings were 2-3 weeks late).

I'm thinking maybe 8lb around 17th April (will Be having an elective section but no dates set but will be by 38 weeks) x

Thanks for doing that Lili2! I'm so excited to see all the babies due around the time my baby is due! :happydance:

As exciting as it is to finally be in 3rd tri, I am not ready for labor talk! Figured we could have a thread to pass the time with some friendly banter and get to know each other before we start labor watching together down the road.

Introduce yourselves and lets get chatting!

I'm 27+3 today, due may 17th with #1 and it's a BOY!

How are you all feeling? I can tell that I'm coming out of the "honeymoon" trimester... starting to feel heavy, tired, and generally uncomfortable much of the time. Heartburn is atrocious, I get it for hours after every single meal no matter how big or small. I had a peanut butter sandwich for lunch and 5 hours later, I'm still very full and acid-y. But despite all of that, I'm feeling so lucky to be here that I feel bad even complaining. Lol

That's so exciting, thanks LiLi2 for doing that! I wonder how many of us will be right! Also it's amazing how there's almost equal boys and girls. I wonder if it will be the same for team oranges!

Welcome Gaves99! Added you to the first post :)

Seems a good number of us are suffering from hearburn/reflux... has anyone found anything effective for treating it? Mylanta/Tums don't even touch it for me. A family member suggested papaya tablets, but I haven't tried them yet.

Woke up this morning to a wet patch on my boob!! Heard this can happen in 3rd tri, but I JUST moved over lol! Shit's getting real ;)

I've been leaking since about 20 weeks! I have to wear breast pads already. If I forget them, it's guaranteed I'll leak through my bra at the most inopportune time. (In the middle of a church group gathering :haha: )

OMG haha, well at least I'm in good company! I wasn't really expecting my boobs to leak tbh so it was quite the surprise

Oh and thanks for doing this LiLi2! It'll be amazing to look back on :)

Lili, my due date is May 24. Sorry for the confusion! I'm predicting May 10 and 8 lbs 2 oz.

Hi ladies! I'm due May 31st, and I'm team BLUE! I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead, so I'm going to guess I will deliver somewhere around May 21st. My daughter was 9 lbs. 8 oz. so I'll guess 9 lbs. 9 oz. Haha, I kind of feel like I'm setting myself up for a huge baby!

My doc prescribed Zantac for me. He measured my belly and asked if I was having heartburn. I replied with a yes, but that Tums was working for me. I guess he must think I don't have much more room in there :) so it might get worse. Hope not!

If you don't mind adding my prediction .. DUE May 13th, Predicting May 7th, 8 lbs 4ozs

Oooh can I predict!

My daughter was born 40+4 (even though my labour started 40+1) and was 6lb 7oz

So I am going to predict for this Yellow Bundle......BOY.....7lb....10th May (My Due Date)

Just finished work due to being signed off with SPD and my job is very physical. So feeling a bit more relaxed and excited now!

Ok folks, first post is updated with everyone's information and predictions (if given). If I missed anyone, you want to make a change, or I messed anything up, just let me know and I'll fix it! I had to do some due date calculating when a specific date wasn't given, so chances are I messed someone's up. :winkwink: I will also add new people as they come.

It's hard to predict the weight and length for mine but I think he will be about 6 pounds 3 ounces 17 1/2 inches long and I think he will come May 25th.

Hi there!
Yeah, I'm not ready for the labour talk yet either. I haven't found any motivation to do anything much so far.

I'm 26+6 with my third. Team Yellow. EDD is 22nd of May.

My first (DS) was 2.5 weeks early and 6p10oz, my second (DD) was 1 day early and 6p12oz.
So my guess is arriving 14th of May, weighing 7pd.

DS is 13 and DD is 8, so a big age gap for my lot. I told DH that I couldn't guarantee I wouldn't want another one before I get much older, so this one has a sibling close in age. His answer was "With who?". Lol.:haha:

In previous pregnancies I have taken Slippery Elm for heartburn. Not the lozenges, but the actual dried stuff. The midwife recommended it. I bought it from the health shop and put a spoonful or so in a glass of water and downed it as quick as possible. Honestly, it tasted like lawn clippings but it did work. This time around, Gaviscon is keeping it under control so far, when necessary. But I'll be back on the lawn clippings if it gets any worse! :winkwink:
