Aw God bless him and congratulations - he's a good weight for coming so early. Here's to him coming home with you as soon as possible :)

Huge congratulations to you all pinkbump, I hope he is home with you super soon :hugs:

Congrats Pinkbump! You have your sweet little baby....how wonderful! I hope you recover well and wish you and your family the best!

I saw my midwife yesterday and she confirmed that the baby has been starting to descend....good baby! I'm 35 weeks and a bit now. I'm actually feeling really good all of a sudden the last couple days! I've been seeing the chiropractor and it's really helping. I feel more mobile in my pelvis and less sore in general, and I'm just so excited that I have less than 5 weeks to go! I just got my nursery painted and am in the process of setting it up, so that's making me really happy too :).

I started reading Ina May's guide to chidlbirth, and it's making me really look forward to having my baby! I was scared before, now I'm just excited! The blissful ignorance of not having had a baby yet ;)

Hello everyone!! I am kind of new,but not so much lol I was previously on the site under the name "xpectinour1st" but for some reason, after not being around for awhile, the account will not let me log in..but here I am! :) so some of you may know me already and vise versa..I know Mummafrog is familiar to me,I remember you from when I first found out I was preg!
Anyway,I am Jennifer, preg with our first baby,a boy named Josiah..my original due date was June 12th,2014..but after some ultra sounds and measurements, our due date was changed to June 5th,2014 :) we are 33 weeks today, and I am soooooooooo ready for him to be here already! lol between the foot in my rib,my hips hurting, back hurting and bladder having a mind of its own,7 weeks can not go by fast enough :haha: I have even forgot what sleep is like and he isnt even here yet lol I hope everyone else is feeling much better!

Ohaai xpectin, yes I remember you too :hi:
Glad you're still well (ish) and baby too! With your ultrasound date I'm due the next day with my first :happydance:We'll have to labour watch together teehee.
I know 7 weeks feels very soon but also waay too far away.

Everything has been smooth for me so far and glad the end is in sight and I can meet my baby girl soon. Typical aches and pains here too; indigestion, still throwing up randomly sometimes, achey pelvis/back, being punched in bladder/cervix and a bum in my ribs but hay ho :haha:

Thank you ladies it's been a tough time he is still in hospital and has a very rare condition where he produces to much insulin :( total opposite to me as I am diabetic. We will be seeing the specialist nurse next week so we know how to manage him when he is home x

Haha same here  I'm watching Ina on YouTube and reading my hypnobirthing books, feeling all blissed out and confident I can do this drugfree...hehehe

Hi girls!!! I keep loosing all my pages! How is everyone has anyone had their bubbas yet? I'm 36 weeks and totally over it. 27 days to go woo hoo! I'm keeping fingers crossed I don't go overdue I'm freaking out because my fil and step mil go overseas on the 22nd 4 days after my due date and they are the only people we have to mind our boys, no other family or friends where we live. My mum is coming to stay once I go into labour ( she lives 5 hours away ) but if I'm still pregnant by the 22nd she will be coming on the 23rd, but what happens if I go into labour the night of the 22nd OMG I'm just freaking myself out, I'd have to give birth on my own.
Anyway here's my 36 week bump pic from yesterday :)

Hi Misscalais! Oh that sounds stressful :( so hard to plan when you have other little ones. And we were worrying about who will take care of our *dog*... so silly.

I'm due about the same time as you! Don't want ANYTHING to happen in the next two weeks while I finish work but after that I'll be ready.

Hi ladies, massive apologies for starting this thread and not maintaining it. I hope everything is well with you and your pregnancies.

I had my baby girl at 33+4 on the 20th March weighing 3lb 11oz. My waters went at 33+2 and following signs of infection, induction and fetal distress we ended up with an emergency c-section. She was in hospital for 11 days following birth and we are now all settled in at home. She is now nearly 5 weeks old and weighs 5lb 3oz.

Good luck ladies, wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies, deliveries and babies.

Lovely news SophL. I'm so glad lo is home and well.

I've finally finished work last week (technically this week is annual leave but still). I have definitely found myself labour watching now though.

In the last 2 days I have gone from occasionally losing a little bit of plug in my underwear to having it there constantly and when I wipe. Also have lots and lots of strong but irregular braxton hicks and last night I had them between every 3 -10 minutes between 10pm and 2.30am. I'm not sure what to think of it (if anything) being that I went 10 days over with my first though I am hoping its a sign maybe I'll go into labour a little bit sooner this time because I didn't get like this until 3 days before I delivered last time.

I'm trying not to get over excited about potentially not going overdue but its scared me enough into going and buying the last little bits that I needed today. Tomorrow I'm buying nappies and bag packing lol.

Just in case (but unlikely) do they try to stop labour (in the UK) if it starts before 37 weeks? I'm all for giving birth before my due date but not really before he's full term at 38 weeks.

might depend on your hospital. i was under the impression that "term" was 37+ but the letter from my hospital states that premature is anything below 36 - inferring up to 35+6 is premature and 36+ is term.
