May iui thread

Regarding ultrasound monitoring - they haven't done that for me at all. I think you definitely need that done if you are doing a trigger shot because they don't want to trigger you until the follicles are ready. This is my second clomid/iui round and I am in the tww. This round they did do daily blood test monitoring to figure out when my lh surge happened because I got a false positive on an opk test on day 12 (I was suspicious b/c on my own I don't ovulate until at least day 22 so I asked for the blood test and it confirmed a false positive opk). I ended up with a surge on day 16 and had the iui day 17. fingers crossed for all of us

Hi all.

The hospital I'm at have me doing the Clearblue smiley face opk as well as having the ultrasounds. So far I've not seen the smiley face before they have given me the trigger shot. I've had two scans, the trigger, smiley face and IUI the next day.

I had bloodwork yesterday to check my progesterone and it's 16.6! Yay!! My temp has been all over the place though... I still have no symptoms!!! I have been testing out e trigger every few days, still positive as of Thursday. I am going to wait until tomorrow to test again.

i've had a few symptoms last few days, pain on left side ovaries, weeing a lot and tiredness its going to be 14 dpo iui tommrow too scared to test as don't want to be disappointed

well af decided to show up this morning i'm out. guess the polyps they saw in my last ultrasound prevented iui working this time. assuming im going to have to have them removed and see what fs recommends we do next

I am testing at home on Wednesday, 10dpo. And I scheduled my bloodtest for Thursday!

Well, I couldn't help and I tested yesterday, and there was a faint second line... but... i was 10 days after TRIGGER so that could be from that still in my system. I really will probably test this weekend... my blood work is for NEXT Tuesday... that is 18 days after trigger and 17/16 days after IUI so I hope I could know for sure on a HPT this weekend, which is about 14dpo, roughly.

I tested this morning (10dpiui, 11dpt) and it was bfn. I had a teeny bit of spotting today which is a normal pre AF symptom for me. I always try to convince myself it's implantation bleeding! This time was a lot less (scant, at best) than its ever been before. I guess I will know tomorrow when I have my beta... Anyone know if that was implantation if I will produce enough hcg for them to pick it up on a a bloodtest?? I would think so...

I had my first IUI this morning so i join you all in the May IUI group though i won't test until June. We did two stimulated cycles with timed intercourse without success, so this time we moved onto IUI. It felt like a big step. Hopefully increases our chances. My husband's sperm analysis early in the process was fine and my HSG was clear, so I have wondered whether I have hostile CM. They have never tested me for that. So, if that is the case we should have better chances this month.

Hi all!

I'm going in to my RE tomorrow (cd #18) for my second u/s. At my 1st u/s this past Wednesday, my biggest follicle was at 9mm. So I'm crossing fingers that they grew bigger since then. Hopefully I can get my trigger tomorrow so I can move forward with the IUI! Wish me luck!

Boston- we had IUI the same day! My husband has a fantastic sperm count but low volume, and I do not have much cm so they are thinking it has to be a hostile cervical environment for us too. Keep me posted, when are u testing in June?

Kyoun009, I am scheduled for a blood test on June 7. How about you? I will probably not test at home before then. If I got a positive, I would worry it was hcg leftover from the trigger and if I got a negative I would wonder if it was too early. Is it your first IUI? I was for us, so I am hopeful. We had no signs of anything wrong in our testing but I don't have much cm either so my hope is that we have bypassed that potential issue. Fingers crossed!

Hey everyone! I just realized that I never updated. I had my IUI on the 30th. Hubby's sperm count was 28 million and I had two follies measuring 21 and 23. I'm only 2dpo today. Hoping the tww goes by fast but I doubt it

Hi girls! On to iui #3 for me, hope that will happen Wednesday. I have my midcycle u/s tomorrow, so we will see what my follies look like.

Still waiting over here. Blood test Thursday. No symptoms to speak of, but I am generally not much into looking for those. I will say, I am not a fan of Crinone (just because the discharge is gross) but so far, this time around (my third) it is not as bad.
