Got my 3+ this morning  nausea isn’t too bad to be fair, fatigue is massive though!

Congrats on the 3+! Such a relief seeing those words

I am sorry everyone is beating hit so hard with all the nausea, hormones and tiredness.

I had more bleeding. So I had a scan. They put me back 3 days which I expected since I ovulated so late. We saw the heartbeat! And the bleeding is coming from me and its minor nothing problematic!

So i def feel everyone here whos been waiting for a scan. Im so glad I got to see the little HB flicker on screen.

Sorry you are bleeding but great news that it’s nothing to be concerned about the baby!

I feel like it's hard waiting for this scan because even tho I've had the nausea, no period since early August and a few positive pregnancy tests, I can't let it sink in or feel relaxed until I've had that scan and I see our baby happily wriggling away.

I feel the same! Scans are all that will give me the reassurance I need (which will last about a day or two until I start worrying again )

When you have your scans it would be lovely to see you post a pic up here! I love seeing the ones we've seen so far and to see baby progression will be super exciting!

So I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow - here we “book in” at the hospital around 8-10 weeks. They will make my dating scan appointment tomorrow, which I expect to be in around 3 weeks. I’m a teacher and will be on half term after that, so ideal! I’m excited to be back at the maternity unit again.. only a year after I left it last!!! They will all know me, because my son was so ill when he was born and then I had such anxiety with my daughter that we got to go in a lot and met a lot of people. I would love not to be classed as high risk this time, but my age tells me I will be. I hope I get the same consultant as last time - she was amazing. I loved my midwife too, but probably won’t get her, as she is specialist perinatal mental health and my mental health is really good this time. They may still refer me to check in with her later on, but I expect to be with the community midwife to start with.

I’ve just started hemorrhaging blood. I was sitting on the porch and felt wet and then realized that it was blood. When I stood up it just started pouring down my legs.

Waiting for my husband to come home from the gym and my midwife to call me back and advise me what to do.

No cramps or anything, just sitting on the toilet and gushing blood everywhere.

Omg! Please update is soon with how you are! Hoping and praying everything is okay and you’ve made it to the hospital.

Stuckinoki :hugs: I am sending positive vibes. Please keep us updated

Oh no Stuckinoki! I hope everything is ok! Please keep us updated

Stuckinoki I am so sorry, that sounds terrifying. I hope you're okay. Prayers going out to you <3

So, hcg levels were 37,000+, saw sac and fetal pole but no heartbeat. I was expecting a heartbeat at 6+2.

Still scheduled for my scan tomorrow with my OB but I’m not feeling very optimistic right now. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

The bleeding has tapered off but it’s still there, at least it’s not gushing today. I’m trying to stay off my feet and rest, fingers crossed everything is ok in my uterus.

Did they figure out what was causing the bleeding? So much blood it seems like there would be an obvious reason on ultrasound.

They did not mention an SCH or anything. They had no reason, just called it a threatened miscarriage, which is all they can do. They were so nice though, INOVA hospitals are legit the best. I’ve never had a better experience at an ER before.

Fingers crossed that heartbeat is there for your scan tomorrow Stuckinoki, I'm sorry you've had such a scare!

There is still time for that heartbeat to show up, but I understand that you could be nervous with the bleeding. Glad that the ER staff was nice though. Keeping everything crossed for you, hope that your ob might have more answers about what is causing the bleeding.
