Oh goodness Ellie how scary! It definitely shows that you were getting too tired. I hope you can rest up a bit and take it easy!

Ellie that is super scary :hugs: Take it easy (as easy as one can with LOs running around). I hope they can give you clear answers pronto!

Ellie, looks up POTS. I was diagnosed with it about 10 years ago. I'm much better now, most women get better eventually. Unfortunately pregnant women are at high risk of developing POTS, and apparently it hits harder and longer if you get it during pregnancy. Hope you're feeling better and get some answers!

Ellie, I hope you are feeling better now and somehow managing to take thing easier, kids permitting!

Jary, how is the physio going? Have you started yet?

Took a really bad fall on steps on Saturday so my right leg is full of really bad bruises; I look like DH assaulted me! Its so sore to sleep cause every time I roll only that side it hurts. Fortunately nothing more than bruising. Of course, baba decided to choose that day to not move much so I was worried the whole day but by the evening he was rolling and tumbling all over again so I was reassured

Oh no Aphy, that is terrible. I’m glad the baby is ok and I hope your bruises fade fast and the pain goes. <3

Oh ouch Aphy! Not nice! Glad you and bubs are OK tho.
I start physio next week so hoping I get some help from them then will see midwife in the afternoon.

Ouch aphy! Id be terrified too. Good thing LO decided to move around again to let you know all was well! I hope the pain and brushing go away quickly!

Ive caught Mateos gastro followed by the worst cold. I feel like a zombie going thru the motions. And I keep losing weight sigh.

Tummy bugs when pregnant are horrible. Make sure you stay hydrated.
A question about weight loss... am I right in thinking that the baby will be fine even if we are losing weight? The past week, I’ve dropped 7lb and am down to only 10lb total gain at nearly 25 weeks, which is far less than my other 2. I don’t see this improving while I’m feeling so crappy, but I think I read that the baby will still get what it needs from my fat stores. Anyone know?

baby will be first on priority when it comes to nutrition, I’m still down from the start of my pregnancy and baby is growing fine, a bit small but so was my daughter! I would monitor it as 7lbs in 1 week is quite a lot to lose, some will be water weight though! And of course if you’re really worried I’d contact a midwife or whoever your contact is for reassurance!

Ellie I feel you, I have dropped 7lbs in a week too. Now I am at a 4lbs gain for 22 weeks. It worried me because my pre pregger weight was 119lbs and Mateo I only gained 16lbs total (and I was stuffing myself) and he came out so small... but my doc said she wasn't too worried because he measured okay at the echo (21weeks) and as kittykat mentionned she said she knew it was a lot of water weight that would come back once I feel better.

Staying hydrated waa difficult during the gastro (one sip of water and Id throw up). Now I can drink but the cold is so bad (throat on fire, lungs hurt) that I can't eat.

Well that was scary.
Went to the GP yesterday lunchtime to collect my fit note for work (midwife signed me off because I’m so tired). While I was there, I had a dizzy spell and woke up covered in ECG pads and very tachycardic. GP called an ambulance and I spent a few hours in A&E being checked out. Every time I over exert myself, my pulse races and I get dizzy.
They’ve taken lots of bloods and I’ll hear more on Monday, but they think I’m exhausted and I need to take it easy.
I’ve been signed off for 3 more weeks.
How scary Ellie! Sounds like your body and mind really need a break! Maybe you are just depleted from the pregnancies and child rearing and juggling mom, wife and employee duties. It’s too much sometimes! Hope your time off allows you to heal and regain your health.

I definitely have a bump, but I have a long torso so it's a long bump and doesn't stick out a ton. To most people it just looks like a beer belly I'm sure. My coworker is due the same day as me and she's HUGE! She looks pregnant with twins! Not sure why some people show way more than others, but I'm just grateful I haven't had to buy a whole new wardrobe this pregnancy.

Beautiful bump kittykat!
Mine is also much lower than with my DS.
My bump has expanded in the last weeks. A lot.

I definitely have a bump lol. I'm 25 weeks tomorrow it's definitely pronounced. I'd post a pic but this website says my photos are too big a file now. I'll keep trying tho!

I'll try to post a pic later too. I'm at work and would be really obscene if someone caught me lol

My bump pretty much disappeared this week. 25 weeks with Finlo and with Kirree, then today at 24+6:

My specialist midwife came round today and I told her that it feels like I’m not pregnant anymore. I’ve now lost 10lb in a week and I feel like I’ve reabsorbed the baby, as the bump has almost gone. It’s a surreal feeling. She made me look at the scan reports to show me it is in there (or was...). I refused to let her listen in with a Doppler or feel my abdomen because I was scared of what we would find.
In other news, last week’s ECG results show that there is something wrong with my heart’s conduction. I have no idea what this means, but the GP is ordering me a 24 hour ambulatory ECG to see what is going on.

I think you should get checked, I don’t necessarily think anything’s wrong I just think it would be better if you knew what was happening, bumps can change, baby suddenly shifting further back would cause a large difference in your bump! I really hope everything’s okay :hugs:
