I HATE HATE HATE hidden veg, what a way to make children suspicious of food! the only time I have done "hidden" veg is grating carrot into spag bol to thicken it up

My mum used to "hide" veg from us, like cutting parsnips and cooking them then pretending they were chips

hiding it from adults is ok lol and mixing/pureeing it into baby food is equally ok imo lol its just hiding it from kids who 'dont like' veg because you are kinda telling kids that its ok not to eat veg and when you can no longer give them hidden veg as a staple meal you going to have fussy eating preschoolers

my mam used to hide cauli in mash but then we wouldnt eat the mash when it had no cauli in lol

oh, I don't pretend it's anything else- I say "mommy made sweet potato chips!" etc- my older kids still LOVE them! And when they ask what's in it, I tell them. But I do put veg IN a lot of my cooking- it's just good for you

Dylan HATES veg but I always dish him up his portions, occasionally he will try it, but I'm not too worried, cos 3-4 times a week we have a meal with lots of veg, like spag bol with shit loads of veg, stir fry, chicken and veggies, veggie curry etc etc. little monkey has a mega sweet tooth

OMG, owwwww!

You guys remember in summer I was saying how much my nose hurts cos my glasses were rubbing, well baby is made out of napalm, I swear, i am boiling all the time, and the chafing started early this year

ok, so the only way I can keep up with so many posts during the day is I have both computers up and open to fb and bnb and I bounce back and forth- in between changing, feeding, playing- etc- and I do most of my posting either first thing in the morning whele they are content to just play with eachother, or durring nap times. On post heavy days like today I occationally have more than one window open per computer, so I can just flip back and forth hitting refresh when I have a second- so I just figured out I had 3 of each on my laptop, 5 fb on the desktop, and- GET THIS 17 ON BNB!

its been okay went to my parents for a little bit, let the kids run around outside. then OH went to get the dryer, after that went to in-laws. let the kids go outside in their backyard since its fenced in. they're going to bed now though, i hope! lol.
