My DH told his mom about the tongue tie thing... so MIL says to me 'oh, so now that they fixed that, will he start talking soon?' ... what the hell is she talking about? argh, thats the kind of stupid/crazy comments that drive me nuts although this one was kind of funny too
One of our friends sisters is in hospital with pre eclampsia so bad her feet have started to go black. She is about 26 weeks and they are starting steroids to deliver her little girl. I've just been cuddling Sam all evening feeling so grateful. xx
hey ladies. been a while since i've checked in. Ava is doing fine. she smiled at milo the other day though lately milo has been trying to hit her again i just wish he'd accept her already and be interested in her.
earlier this afternoon a service worker from a program called Help Me Grow came over to assess milo to see if he qaulified for Early Intervention. she said in order to qualify they need to score over 50 and milo scored 125. she said his scores came a lot from the autism questions. and that she's surprised his pedi isnt worried, and especially surprised he's not worried about his speech since he doesnt say a single word. his evaluation is july 6th at 9am!
he did better than i expected. normally he cries if a strnger comes in the house but he didnt. he just wouldnt come to her or let her try to touch him too much. so on the 6th we'll find out if it's autism, aspergurs, or just speech delay.
Has anyone had wrist pain? Mine is getting worse. It started out as an annoying pain on the outside of my thumb down to my forearm, but now it's my wrist and is really starting to get in the way. I think it's from some repetitive motion I'm doing with Travis, but I'm not even sure what it is.
just a brief visit, school run in a mo and then hv coming.
then off out for cake and delicious coffee with some friends, and then shopping wiv my bday money, have been spoilt rotten with loads of perfume and treats.
dh tho woke at 5am and told me it was 8 and we all rushed to leave for school, just as we got to back door i looked at the time, and it was only 5.20am, he must have been dreaming the time lol, so phoned him and said u can go to work but ull be a few hours early, so he came home and went back to bed, me and the kids r knackered lmao
Happy birthday Wild!! Sounds like you have a brilliant day planned!
It is so hot today, I just want to lay on the sofa and sleep the day away I think I'm going to get on with some housework while I watch JK then get on with lunch and fingers crossed that will make the morning pass quickly.
If any of you ladies are having crap weather please send it this way, the flat is turning into a sauna
wiggler- It's not very sunny here so i'll send it your way. We're supposed to be having rain later too. Although Saturday and Sunday is meant to be 24c which is too hot for me! Did i read right that someone above you had a moped IN their flat?
Josh slept 9:30pm till 4:45am which was lovely. I'm going to get him a blackout blind as i think he's getting woken by the light and not hunger as he doesn't seem to take much, only 2-3oz and then wakes up again after i put him down.
I'm trying to do the EASY routine with him aswell and it's making him a lot less grumpy (apart from tummy ache time) and he's napping much better, he's even woken and settled himself back to sleep a couple of times which he couldn't do before.
Glad Josh is sleeping well hun, fingers crossed a blackout blind will stop the early waking. Yep, you read that right, he had a moped up there, it was soooooo loud! No idea how he managed to drag it up 2 flights of stairs.
Just done a little bit of housework and I'm pooped, still gotta do the hoovering and dusting, clean the bathroom, tidy Dylans room and make lunch and dinner today. Bleh, anyone want to come do it for me At least the kids are happy and smiley today, makes it so much easier
Lucky that sounds a lot like carpel tunnel syndrome hun, and yup its going on here, the only way to ease it during a feed is to reposition him. Ive had decompression surgery once, but it doesnt seem to be making any difference at the moment, Im suffering with both wrists Best thing is to keep the arm elevated at night and avoid holding it in the same position for too long.
Happy Birthday Wild, hope you have a lovely day at you all jumping up and rushing round lol
George is watching the tennis, and everytime they clap he coo's awwwww lol he seems to be enjoying it lol
urgh! lol we didnt have snacky food in till yesterday lol i got to be soooo careful now I had my measurements taken, my dress can be taken in if needs be but cant be taken out lol
