Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Feeling very :( today.... I just can't do anything but hold Sam all day, as soon as I put him down he just screams until I pick him up again, even if he is asleep and I put him down he just wakes straight up. I went out earlier and he screamed all the way there to get out his carseat, screamed to get out the pram, screamed all the way home and I'm just so tired from the constant setttling in the night. Its worse than usual again as his eye infection is back, and obviously cant go to the doctors until monday.

Er rant over.

Wild, lots of hugs. :hugs: And you too new. :hugs: xx

aww 24/7 :hugs: FX Sam passes his clingy phase soon. Men just don't get it do they? :hugs:

24:hugs: men!

Wild, I'm soooooooo jealous of Lucas gain:haha: Sorry about the bowel probs hun, in my experience lactulose does nothing, have you tried bisacodyl yet?

New, my 7 year old really is just like this, I really believe that a lot of it comes out their mouths in the heat of the moment and they dont really comprehend what they're saying:dohh: Joshua probably did say something, but it was a highly charged excitable atmosphere, he probably doesn't remember what he said and in all fairness I'm sure if it was the other boy that got through and not Joshua this would be the other way round. The kids mum is completely overreacting.:hugs:

Wiggler, Bethany sounds so cute:cloud9: Dylans being a boy lol, got a little ratbag here pretty much the same age. Shame you're not closer, we could let them burn of energy together.

Poor little guy is shattered, he spent an hour earlier falling asleep on the sofa, floor, chair etc, every time I woke him up he moved somewhere else to sleep :dohh: so I gave him a yoghurt, that woke him up :haha: I would have let him nap, but I don't fancy getting up at 4am, I'm getting used to 6am wake ups :)

Thanks, he is a sod lol He did eventually admit laughing at this lad, so we had words about lying, but I had to promise him no telling off in return for truths so have to keep that promise. He was apparently worried about being kicked out of karate, which wont happen as it was nothing and the mum is totally over reacting, but I was frustrated with the lies. Anyways as far as Im concern its done, but me thinks things wont be so finished with this mam

24 I hope Sams clingy day eases off hun. George has those and they are so tiresome. I still give in to him though so Im probably not helping myself, but on days he isnt so clingy I do leave him moaning onhis own for a little while. Hoping he'll slowly learn. Im sure DH will be home and so so apologetic, being tired is hard and Im sure he didnt realise he was being narky :hugs:

Wiggler hope Dylan sleeps good for you tonight hun! Bless him wanting his nap I bet he looked super cute all sleepy lol

Right we're off to mass now, never been on a Saturday before but we cant make it tomorrow and its important Joshua attends every week leading to his Communion. Im hoping I may also get chance to speak about Georges Christening :)

Ive caught up a bit of my sleep from last night now, lol George and I snoozed earlier although Joshua kept asking me things so I think only half my brain slept. He probably got away with loads as Im not sure how I answered rofl

I'm glad he owned up hun!

Dylan did look cute all super sleepy, he wasn't so cute when I gave him a cuddle and he tried to kick me in the face though :dohh: Just like his mummy, does not like having his sleep disturbed

Wild - hope you manage to poop soon. My Dr prescribed Movicol which, at the top dose, did the trick nice and quickly when nothing else worked. It's powders which you mix with water and drink (8 sachets in 125ml water each over 6 hours, plus drinking plenty of normal fluids) - a day and a half of this and I was FAR from blocked! As soon as I stopped it I was back to nice and regular in about 24 hours or so - I'm still mentally scarred and keep eating all-bran and prunes!

24 - sorry you're having a crap time. :hugs: Megan has been super demanding today and I've barely managed to get anything done! I have similar problems whith hubby. On the occasion that I ask him to hang on to Megan while I do something important (eat, toilet, quick bath, get dressed) he gets impatient and starts telling me he NEEDS a shower NOW or something similar. :growlmad: When it's on his terms he's quite happy to spend lots of time with her. :dohh:
I'd LOVE the roles to be reveresed so he can see how much hard work it can be when you're on your own all day and she's unsettled and wants to feed all the time. Sadly though his boobs are incapable of feeding a baby! :haha:
(plus I don't think I could be away from Megan for a day!:cloud9: )

Been crap about coming on here again.
Megan has been very demanding and has wanted to feed all afternoon. She hasn't even mananaged a proper nap. Is there a growth spurt around this time? I'm also paranoid that my boobs are much softer (and therefore less full). Do you think it's just the increased feeding and my body will catch up or are they just not producing too much of an excess now? Or do I have a supply problem? They were getting quite engorged between feeds (she usually only feeds off one boob, despite me offering the other when she comes off the 1st) but now I can hardly tell, when I have a grope, which boob she's due to start on.
She's pooping and peeing plenty so hopefully it's not supply.

Quick update, the doctor put Liam on zantac for reflux. Trying to actually get him not to spit it out or choke on it is a nightmare but hopefully it will work soon. He also took his first bottle yesterday and took it like a champ. Hopefully that means there will be no worries when I go back to work. They are watching me for PPD because I'm so moody but the fact that I get maybe an hour sleep a night is probably whats causing it so we are waiting to see if the reflux meds work and I can get 3 hours of sleep a night and maybe be less moody. He's gained about 3lbs this month, 5lbs 11 oz to 8lbs 10 oz.

My mom says she's my spitting image...Me at a day old, Anberlin (in the corner) at 4 hours old.

Great job on the weight gain lucky!!

I believe there's a 6 week growth spurt span, lovely to see you on hun:flower:

Wiggler, bet he was adorable, my guy is napping though lol he gets an hour and thankfully he settles well at 7 for his bedtime.

New, yeah It sounds like you're going to have your hands full with that mum:dohh: Glad you've caught up on some sleep.

Lucky, I think anybody would be moody on an hours sleep:hugs: Glad you've got some treatment for Liam and that he has taken his bottle well. Awesome weightgain too:happydance:

Brandi - She looks just like you!

  OH has got it into his head that I'm doing the washing up tonight  I don't do washing up  I told him he can have a day off from washing up on his birthday, I'm going to get paper plates and cups in

 Washing up is DH's job here too..

Watching the new series of futurama we recorded on thursday, very funny!

I haven't watched Futurama in yonks!

OH has been whining all evening about his free Xbox Live Gold trial running out soon, diddums  He is getting in lots of Halo time while he can. He was not amused when I decided to watch Casualty earlier, I paused it a few times too so I could do stuff. I'm mean! :)

I love futurama its funny, lol at teasing your OH:haha:

I just got an hours nap, think hubby trying to be extra nice since MIL arriving later this evening. Hope the next 3 days pass quickly, we dont have the room here so going to be falling over each other and she can be a grumpy moo:haha:

Eek, good luck with your MIL, I would hate it if my MIL came to stay here, but luckily there is no chance of that happening. She just got a tattoo representing all her kids and grandkids :dohh: Would probably mean more if she actually bothered with them, she still hasn't met Bethany, she only lives 8 miles away :(

my MIL is making loads of effort now but she barely saw them the first few years, too busy up on her high horse I guess:shrug: Its your MIL's loss hun, seems pretty hypocritical getting tattoos though!

My big thing just now is we only have a 3 bed until we buy/move and its already a squeeze, she just expects us to put her up. She's so judgemental and it drives me potty lol and I have to be feeding Eilidh all the time atm, which she'll complain about:dohh: I hope we dont get a repeat of the visit where she refused to speak to me and hubby just sticks his head in the sand, men!!

Shove her on the sofa :haha: Or even better, get her to stay in a local hotel  Your hubby should stand up for you though, she shouldn't be ignoring you or acting up towards you in front of your kids :hugs:

OH has decided he isn't talking to his mum til she comes and visits, which is most likely not going to happen.

hmmm, 1.11am. Bedtime I think

Haha yeah might make her do sofa, local hotel even better:haha: Men dont do well with their mothers I guess.

Wow 1am?! Bedtime for sure, sleep well hun:sleep:
