24 thats really unfair! Cant you ring your MW? Try to find out about a BFing support group in your area, the HV might be able to help with this. That MW was totally wrong to suggest on your notes that you are doing it, when Sam hasnt mastered it yet. Keep with the expressing hun, and loads of skin to skin, have you tried having a bath with him? I really hope there is some support near you that can help xxxx

There is hope its going to be alot of work though. keep pumping every couple of hours and offer the breast whenever he shows hungry behaviours

24/7 - Bloody hell that MW sounds awful, your HV should be able to give you sme advice and give you info on local BF groups. Keep at it hun, you are doing fab

Well OH is home now, I survived! Dylan is playing up again now that OH is home now so his awful behaviour is deffo cos OH is more lax and gives in, cos he won't pull this crap with me, OH has been great with disciplining Dylan from refusing to be the "mean" parent, but he has realised now he has got to stop giving in.

24- that is shocking! have you had a look at the expressing thread in the bf section. perhaps if you can get your supply up he might latch on easier? you should complain!

Glad your OH is more on side with Dylans disapline Kids need those boundaries, hopefully this will help keep Dylans tantrums down for you now

Thanks, she's been smiling for a few weeks but I always missed them with the camera then today she was just doing loads and pone was right there. Lesson learnt to always have camera close by

Mummy - lovely pic! We didn't get out for a walk in the end. By the time we'd eaten lunch, I had a snooze and Megan had a feed there wasn't time as my parents are due round any minute. I can't believe how quickly the time goe now!

Wiggler - sounds like your neighbours might have been looking for a cat?

Time goes super fast, its impossible to get everything done in a day! Sounds like you're having a nice relaxing day though.

Anyone here used amber teething necklaces/anklets? I really like the look of them, but don't want to waste the money if they don't work.

We have been quite lucky with nappies this time, no leaks yet! We had huge problems finding nappies that Dylan didn't leak through. We ended up using Boots and Tesco own brands, now we use just Tesco own brand on him, Boots are crap now, the sticky tabs fall off

Must be a boy thing.... He wee'd on the MW's scales earlier and OH just before his bath. He is being an angel now though and is sleeping in his crib!! So strange when he isn't right here!! xx

I was resting in the bedroom and OH had Bethany in the lounge with him, even though I was only 1 room away I missed her soooo much, atm she is in her moses basket right next to me. She would be in her bouncy chair, but she bloody hates it

Bfing support is very hit and miss, an older mw is more likely to have bf herself so in a better place to advise. It hard to suport someone else when you've never done it yourself

Im still waiting for Eilidh to really like her chair lol but she loves to roll around on her mat
