Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I have been thinking of taking him to the GP to see if there is an underlying problem thats causing the behavioural issues, because it just doesn't seem right, but OH isn't keen. I'm going to mention it at his appointment on Friday I think. He had a meltdown just after I posted last because I wouldn't pass him the blankie that was right next to him on the sofa  I fucking hate living here, I feel so restricted on what I can do to help him and how I want to discipline him because of them twats upstairs and the evil witch downstairs.

I'm going to be buying a wrap carrier thing for Bethany later, I was hoping to put it off for a month or two cos its really expensive and we are really skint, especially after buying the buggy, buggyboard and backpack, but I won't be able to get out of the flat without OH here to help otherwise. My poor credit card has really taken a battering today.

wiggler- its all stuff you need so its not anything to feel bad about. Hope Dylan calms down for you soon :hugs:
Im not going to start exercising til wev moved and the house is sorted. Cant wait to see the girly pics either wiggler :cloud9:
Leo is wearing a cute pair of dungerees today and looks so cute. Hes back up to 7lbs 3oz but nothing really fits him still :dohh: cant wait til he gets bigger and newborn fits him :haha:

Awwww!! I love little dungarees! I started to hate them though once Dylan started walking, they would always pop open under his bum :haha:

Hehe, I don't want Bethany to get any bigger, I wish she could stay like she is now forever! I remember with Dylan I was so looking forward to him getting bigger, and it went so fast!

Dylan has been lovely this evening, he showed me what seemed to be every single train product that Argos sells in the catalogue and then ate ALL of his dinner, which he hasn't done in weeks! He's having a bath now then hopefully will get a good nights sleep tonight. He has been waking up at 5.30am for about a week now and the lack of sleep isn't helping his behaviour at all. Going to get him a blackout blind next week when we get some money to see if that helps, until then its thick sheets over his curtains :haha:

a blackout blind should help alot.
Leo had a nice bath this morning. He loved it until I took him out and started to dry him. I think he likes water  Im going to give him another wash tomorow with some baby oil in the water as HV said for his dry skin. Hoping that OH doesnt wake Leo up when he comes home, he misses us both during the day when hes at work but he still should get Leo all excited at night time, I need my sleep :haha:

Men eh? They have no idea! :haha: OH still thinks its a great idea to get Dylan all hyper before bedtime :dohh:

I'm glad I've got my hubby well trained not to wind the kids up before bed:winkwink:

Wiggler, it cant hurt to ask on friday, just for peace of mind:hugs: Blackout blind sounds like a great plan, ouch at the expenses you've had! For the wrap do you know which you like? I have a Baby K'tan and its awesome:thumbup:

Inge, sounds Leo will be a water baby! I know what you mean about inbetween sizes, we're still waiting for Eilidh to be properly in newborn, preemie is abit small now and newborn drowns her so atm she's in tiny/early baby lol. She seems so big now but defo prefer this to when she was a 3/4lber:wacko:

She needs out of preemie nappies too the stupid things break so easily at the fastener and they are crazy expensive:growlmad:

I ordered a Close Parent baby carrier. I love the look of Moby wraps, but they look like they will drown her, so going to wait until she is bigger to get one. I love the look of Ergo's too :)

All these expenses today are going to kill us at the end of the month, OH will get loads lower pay due to him having 2 weeks paternity leave so any money left over after rent, council tax and the bills will be going straight on the credit card which means we can't do a big monthly shop, I hate shopping weekly, it costs a fortune! Fingers crossed the CB and tax credits don't take too long to come through.

Will cross fingers for you. From what I remember from being in UK, the CB took ages but the CTC was super quick:thumbup: We're still sorting out our tax 2 years in, to get money back ( the US ctc equivalent I believe) Dh got a letter saying he owed tax instead of them oweing us as his old work had him down as single:haha:

We shop weekly, always seem to run out of things to go any longer, and prob would need to get a bigger freezer.

We have 2 freezers, even before Dylan was born we needed them both, we freeze most stuff we buy  Gotta say though, buying stuff and batch cooking and freezing is great, we are going to do it from now on. the pie fillings are super quick to make so going to make loads of them every month. I make the best pie :cloud9:

We do weekly topup shops, stuff like bread, milk, lunch foods etc. Me and OH are awful with money though so trying to rework the entire budget to save us some money, but can't even start that until his end of july payday as all the money is for bills till then :(

We have like a fridge freezer so not terribly much in the way of space, looking into getting another one though as I like to freeze stuff too lol. Your pie sounds yummy, please share:flower:

I'm awful with money too, constantly nipping out to buy this and that and just randomly spending on things I dont need:wacko: Like to go get a coffee alot too:blush:

We're all off out to the pool again, it tires out the kids and its just too hot for much else!

Hows Bethany , must be tonight for you now?

can I have some sleep please? Leo was screaming all night and nothing would stop him. I had to go to the other side of the bed and let OH deal with it because I was really stressing out and getting frustrated :nope: Hes getting tdropped off at a friends at 10am so we can view the house  hes quietened down now but still a little grumpy:wacko:

Morning!

Inge- Oh no, hope he's not so grumpy now :( I get worried about Josh crying and me not being able to do anything lol Hope the house viewing goes well.

Wiggler- I was looking at getting a wrap or something like that. If you want something like the moby wrap but not as expensive have you looked at Victoria the slingladys website? Her wraps are basically the same but cost about £13. They're more if you want a patterened one.

Had an awful day yesterday. Felt so anxious and couldnt stop crying. DH said he'd look after Josh so i went out with mum for a couple of hours. It was nice to have some me time but i missed them so much lol. Feeling a lot better today though.

We're hoping to go to Asda this afternoon to get a few bits and pieces. And going to attempt to bath Josh for the first time this morning  Hopefully he won't scream too much. Just waiting for him and Dh to actually wake up as they're both still in bed :haha:

Inge - Good luck with the house veiwing.

Meow - :hugs: Glad you are feeling better today hun.

My little princess looks sooooooooo gorgeous in her dress!

Have to go down council sometime after we get keys to fill in the housing beneift forms then wer sorted :happydance: still have to sort out the white goods and get the corner sofa wev set our sights on

Fab news Inge!!! :happydance:

Well, we have just registered Bethany, I was sooooo worried Dylan would play up, but we came prepared and gave him a pack of cadbury's buttons just as we got in so he was good as gold

Inge- Glad the house hunting went well

Wiggler- Bethany looks so cute in that dress!

Bathed Josh this morning. He went in with Daddy. Didn't mind it too much which was good. I was expecting him to scream and scream :haha:

Still feeling anxious and tearful. Hope it passes and my depression isn't coming back.

urgh Leo is so grizzly still  I feel bad for it annoying me though but im so tired and he wont stop crying over nothing :nope:
ETA: weighed myself just a mo ago and im 12st8lbs. I was 12st7lbs when I got my BFP so iv lost the pregnancy weight already :D
Just another 3st to go lol

Well done on the weightloss Inge! You don't think he's got trapped wind or perhaps he's overtired so is now struggling to get to sleep? Don't feel bad, it's hard when you feel tired :(
