i'm very intrigued by autism too and love reading about it. i know that delays and mental illnesses run in OH's family. though none are of autism or PDD-NOS. but i will definitely be updating as i find things out

Brandi, that fascinating about the genetic link, Ruaridh has a definate diagnosis of autism but I havent had the chance yet to go into detail with his developmental ped, this is something I would like to know more about,. Wow Anberlin is getting so big!

Milos with docs ad other specialists I've found it very much depends on the doc as to whether they will pay much attention to therapists etc.

So Eilidh went to give a urine sample this pm, she got the sticky bag on we left and she promptly pooped in it now we have to go back and get another lol. Also there was a huge dust storm.

Yup, there are many conditions related to chromosomal abnormalities that are on the Autism Spectrum. The newest one is Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. Zoe was tested for it, but she does not have PMS (not the same that we have )

I think its cos she isn't very long is why she looks like a chunk, she has the most gorgeous chubby cheeks She is trying to sit up in her bouncer again lol. Yesterday I was sat with her sitting up on my legs and I was holding her hands and she managed to push herself to standing up without my help, I just held her hands! I couldn't believe it!

Mummy - ha ha sorry! Trust the little madam pooping in it lol Didnt they give you a couple anyways? They so easily slip off and the urine gets caught in the nappy!

Im giving George rice for breakfast today, and he'll have some later today too. He has fed almost constant for 3 days, all day and night, but he just isnt happy with the breast. So going to take the plunge and see how we get on with 2 meals a day. No fruit in the morning just rice, and a bit of fruit in the afternoon one I'll try this for a few weeks, by then he'll be 4 months and we'll try introducing baby porridge for breakfast, and then the fun will begin with adding flavours to dinnertime lolol

New, nope we only got one, you would think they would've given us a spare. Does sound like George is ready for 2 meals, has he tried the fruit yet? Ouch at feeding for 3 straight days though

Wiggler, awww she doing so well How long is she? Eilidh has managed to get to 23in and looks like a beanpole with a huge head

So i'm thinking McDinner tonight, any other fast food suggestions?

Im on day 3 of diet and caved in - now have a fridge of malteasers, mars bars, twix, haribos ermmm think thats it oh and milkyway cake bars I highly recommend anything non healthy for dinner lol macDinner sounds ideal lol

George has the fruit in his rice int he afternoon (plain rice in the morning). He seems to really love it, cant get enough of it lol He has tried apple & pear, orange & peach, Strawberry & banana, plum & apple, fruit cocktail and so far not turned his nose up at any lol Im thinking to put pureed 100% veg in his rice too, maybe not as sweet and will get him ready for proper dinners in the next 6 weeks or so lol

Those fruit dinners sound yummy, my lot were all a lot more keen on them than the veggie ones lol although carrots were a hit. I remember lots of orange clothes

No diets in this house either, for breakfast this morn I added whippy cream and lemon curd to porridge You're making me very jealous with the UK sweets, they're just not the same here.

I think i should have weaned myself off the sweet stuff lol cold turkey has set me back a million paces lol.. mmmmmm munching on doritos just now forgot i had those too lol

I havent given George the fruit pure, just a spoonful in the rice to flavour it, but he seems to prefer it to the plain rice lol

i might make thomas take a trip there tonight after work. i REALLY hate his work hours. i dont feel like a family cause he's gone all day and gets home at night. then he only sees us for a few hours before work. me and milo always eat dinner alone.

Milos, my hubby works really long hours too, he leaves at 7/7 30am and home around 5/6pm then he works in the evenings till late at night. Evenings he works from home though so we get dinner together. What hours does your hubby work and what does he do?Mines an engineer.

He would get me one on way home but I'm thinking take the kids to the play area so they sleep well

he works as a Window Manufacturer (sp? lol). he works from 3pm-whenever they decide he's done. sometimes it can be as early as 9:30pm or as late as 3:30 AM. but he leaves at 2:30pm. he usually doesnt go to bed until about 3-4am (depending on when he gets off). so he sleeps until about 11am.

Ouch those are some late hours! Does he get weekends off?

We just made a smoothie with milk, peanut butter ice cream and jello strawberry pudding powder, kids very impressed

yep. he gets saturday and sunday off. but those seem so short lived lol.

Darn pain, 1 pack of Doritos last night saw me in pain from 1.30am until 5.30am But worst is it is back today and all I eaten is an egg salad! But reading online gall bladder pain can but due to food allergies not just poor diet, and I had egg yesterday (not something I eat very often normally!) Going to ask my GP for a food intolerance test when I see him. Urghhh pain wont go away today I been sick so much too
