Hello ladies!

I have a mini electric breast pump (Medela). I read that if you lean forward while expressing or have overflow (which I think both apply to me) that milk can get into the motor. This happened to me today, but I have a suspicion that this happened about a week ago as well.

It looks like the motor is completely separate from where the milk comes out of your breast and into the bag. My question is, is my frozen milk now contaminated? I want to think its ok because the motor is apart from where the milk goes through the filter and into the bag... but I just dont know.

Just waiting on a call back from Medela, but thought I would try on here first :)
