Misscarriage just over a week ago UPDATED LAST PAGE

I have loads of tests held my wee and did a blue dye wow it's so dark I'm starting to think the doctors were wrong hurry up blood tests results I need to know

I had a miscarriage and the doc said your levels drop every 48 hours (half) so the tests should be lighter fingers so crossed for you x x x

I was still getting very clear posotives two week after my mc it took just under four week to get a negative and then AF returned.

I think I'm just as baffled as you are. Can't imagine what you must be going through right now. Like everyone else, I would think that your tests would be getting lighter . . . but they look like their getting even darker to me as well. My fingers are crossed for you and I hope you get some good news soon!

I'm just playing devils advocate because after reading this thread I retested and my tests are still also a very strong posistive 2 weeks after my miscarriage.

These tests will show a strong posistive at anything about a 25 hcg. Whereas your hcg levels should drop by half after a miscarriage every 48hrs, it doesn't always happen for everyone.

If your miscarriage has been confirmed by a scan, it's unlikely that they were wrong but if you have had unprotected sex since then then it's quite possible that another baby has started forming with a low hcg and you still have some hcg left from previous pregnancy.

I do hope that the doctors are wrong and you have a miracle baby hanging in there.

As I said, I miscarried 2 weeks ago, still strong bfp and my AF showed up today. I am hoping that once AF has finished then my tests will go back to negative. But we'll have to see xxx

Can I suggest you keep an eye on this. I was told I mc at A&E when I was 6 weeks pregnant. Two weeks later I had a ruptured ectopic. Please keep an eye on things and if in doubt see the early pregnancy unit.

I miscarried last month at 6 weeks n got a negtive a week after but they were definitely lighter by each passing day.

Hi there I was in a similar position to you, told I miscarried at 6 weeks when I checked on a hpt it was still positive. It turned out I was pregnant with twins and only miscarried one baby. Hope this helps. I would also go straight back to the doctors.
