Well i made our pregnancy "facebook official". I told too many people and then a friend admitted to telling another friend and i realized how much i want to share the news! almost made it to 13 weeks! It's fun to finally have it out there

Ladies any other news on your levels?

Vicki did it turn into a full flow? How is your dad? I'm sorry your going through this.

I had the midwife yesterday she didn't really say much! Just said to book my flu jab and come back at 28 weeks!

Everyone else ok? Have you got your decorations up? I've nearly wrapped up all my presents so I'm happy!

Yes finally i can officially call it a flow. As of today. Dad not good since sunday he has been slipping. Any day now i think. Which sucks cause my due date is odficially the 20 but we always go early so i was planning any day now for my due date as well. But he is suffering and needs to let go now. I have finals tomorrow and i am done with school till i figure out which nursing program i want to go to. So if he goes tomorrow i wont know till later cause i need to focus on the tests.

We cut our tree down Sunday and the put it up and started decorating yesterday but I still don't have all the ornaments on. I'm hoping to finish that and start wrapping tomorrow--only have about 1/3 of the shopping done tho...

I'm 38+1 today and ready for my rainbow to be here, I have had high BP at my last two appointments and I'm not very happy with my midwife at the moment as yesterday she rushed me in took my BP said it was high, asked if I had any swelling (which i haven't apart from my ankles a little) and then rushed me out. She didn't even feel to see how baby was lying which I was hoping she would do as bubs was back to back last week so I have been trying all the tricks to get him/her to turn and wanted to know if he/she had! Have been feeling really run down with a headache and backache for the last few days and then to top it off OH ended up in A&E last night with a suspected broken arm/wrist after slipping off an icy wall! So we didn't get to bed until 3am.

But we have our Christmas tree and decs up and I have been very organised and wrapped all my presents already just incase bubs arrives early as I don't truct OH to wrap them nicely

My midwives brushed my high BP off as well and I ended up with severe preeclampsia by the time they deceided to induce me just 2 dats before my due date-they did have me do 24 hour urine collections with blood draws for two weeks prior to the induction but it just showed slightly above normal levels of protein in my urine and slightly decreased platelettes in my blood so they just wanted to monitor-grrrr I hope babe is here soon for you!!!

Megan, I hope they monitor you closer or bubs decides to come very soon. My doc has been brushing off my low blood pressure and only when I went to another doctor as he will be away when I have my bubs did they show concern and start monitoring. Can you see another midwife? Fingers crossed he/she decides to come early xx

Tina, nice new username. How is it all going? Lukas is just beautiful!

I have finished and wrapped all my Christmas shopping and birthdays for Jan and Feb in case I don't have time. It's a nice feeling. Where I live there have been 2 ladies who have given birth 5 weeks early and my neighbour 8 weeks early in the last few days. I hope its an omen and I go early. Don't know how much more of the heat I can handle (all week has been around 35degC) and having balloons for legs is not fun. I do have my waddle on and the baby is engaged. Just need to encourage it to want to come out

Things are going well I think I over did it yesterday and started feeling overwhelmed and noticed more soreness in my lady parts. DH has been working on A few side jobs the last few weeks which is nice for the extra funds but getting to me without his help. Blake has gone to daycare a few times but has been home all day today- he even let me nap with minimal interruption lol

My angels due date would be any day now. But i cant really mourn much because of my dads situation. It sucks. Bleeding a lot now. Especially when i use the bathroom. Hopefull in a month i wil get my +++

Oops don't know what happened! Vicki- glad you got it!
Afm- got my 5th week post bloods and I am at 6!! So close! The nurse said anything under 5 is negative which I'm happy about so hopefully next week I'll be there! Still waiting for AF, the fetal specialist told me I won't get it until negative but I know some women have gotten it before that so who knows...wanted to get your opinion, I want to email Dr G so I can show it to my dr when I see him (will see him before my next blood results). Should I wait until I get to zero to email Dr G or I'm close enough? I'm afraid I'll jinx it! Just wanted to have his recommendation before seeing my dr next week.

Angel: Congrats on reaching 6 and so quickly! Although I have not e-mailed doctor G the one thing I read (on babycenter) is to not let him know what your doctor has recommended or he will back up your doctor. I'd just let him know if you had a cm or pmp, the date of your surgery and when you reached negative (I'd also include your pre-d&c hcg level). He appears to be telling everyone who has reached negative quickly to have three additional weekly blood draws from negative and then three monthly draws and then go ahead an TTC. If you do e-mail him please let us know what he says. Also, I hope you get your AF soon.

For all the preggo ladies I hope everything is going well.

AFM I went in for my second draw today, but I was told I probably won't get my results until Monday as their office is closing early tomorrow for the office Christmas party. I have faith that my levels will be lower so I am OK waiting.

Nesting is in full swing now with all the little tiny baby things washed. Packing my bags today for hospital so anytime after the weekend would be excellent. I have another appointment with ong Tuesday so will be interesting to see what he does. Fingers crossed he checks bubs growth but it must be growing as it has stopped wiggling lots and reverted back to just kicking me hard

Good news, I just got a call from my doctors office and my hcg level 15 days post d&c is 42. 37 more points until I am considered negative. The nurse also told me that the doctor will give me the week of Christmas off (so I don't have to find a lab while I am out of town). Also, I got offered a job yesterday. I haven't worked in three years and I am so excited to be going back to work. Also, it will help the months pass more quickly until I can TTC again.

Jacky: So excited for you. Hope you lo arrives soon.

I think I have bounced back quicker with Lukas than I did with Blake. It could be the weather being better with Blake it was record snowfalls and we were basically stuck at home--or it could be out of necessity that I can't fit around all day Blake needs me not just Lukas?? Vegas congrats on the job offer!! What kind of work do you do??
