Molar and Partial Molar Pregnancy Support Group

Freckles: the blood draws are no fun, but after a while you get used to it. Hopefully you will get a great nurse who will be able to easily find your veins. As for early scans, so far I've had two, one at 5+3 and then yesterday at 6+5. I see my doctor on Tuesday and I'm sure she'll let me know when she wants to do more scans. Dr Goldstein says you can rule out a pmp at 10 weeks so I'm going to ask for a scan at that time.

Vicki: I hope they can accommodate you at work.

Ece: great number this week. I agree that statistics can appear to work against us, but try to focus on your progress for now. You are doing great!

Afm: saw the heartbeat yesterday, 127bpm. So far, so good. My nausea still comes in waves, but I'm ok with it. Tuesday I have my first appointment with my doctor. I'm bracing myself for the lecture I'm sure to get about not waiting, but I'm hoping she decides to keep her opinions to herself and supports me. The only reason I expect a lecture is because the doctor I saw three weeks ago told me she'd be upset. Just what I wanted to hear. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Great news Vegas! Glad to hear that. Hopefully your dr isn't a douche! At the early pregnancy unit with my mc and this pregnancy I got a total grilling about not waiting a year but I just said I'd discussed it with charring cross and we decided to go with 6 months. Ultimately its our decision so tough! Let us know how your dr is! Fingers crossed its not as bad as you think xxx

Vegas - brilliant news! So pleased for you.
Im feeling terrible today. Think ive got a bug but as I cant take anything im suffering :-( my husband is away working and step daughter is with her mum, so at least I only have myself to worry about

Ece-yaas 21. Your getting there.

Vegas- congrats on see the heartbeat. And try not to worry about dr.s opion.

Vicki

Vegas - Great news! Just be happy about your baby's heartbeat and don't worry about what your doctor will say. She has to accept this is your baby and your body. She's there to care for you, not to scold you!

Bevb - Sorry you're sick. As you say, at least you don't have to think/take care of anybody else besides yourself ;)

Bev: being sick is totally awful, but at least you only have to worry about yourself today. Hope you feel better soon.

Ece, wonderful number! Yay! Hope its only a few more weeks til the important negative!

Vegas, Bev, Vicki - hope you all feel better soon. Vegas great news on your scan and heart beat! I was totally freaking out when I had to tell my doctor but they didn't say anything and were really good with plan forwards, outlining testing, scans etc. Hopefully your doctor understands the importance of support.

Hope everyone had a great weekend xx

Oh vegas all i have to do is learn to say NO? That is not on my availability so i really dont have to. Before taking progestrone i would because it looked good for me. Its only fast food so ya basically i just wish they would respect the fact i did ot when i could but now i have to take this and they know it so PLEASE dont ask me for now.

Vicki

Vicki my coworkers always come to me for help and I suck at saying no also!! I'm always the last one at work trying to finish my work cause I helped everyone else throughout the day.

Ece--wonderful number-woohoo!!

Vegas--congrats in the heartbeat. I hope you get your 10 week scan and your Drs are excited for you!! If they are lectury just know its because they care. I kind of felt that my midwives never took my molar history very seriously?!

Becky how is little miss???

Laura it's getting so close to baby time I can hardly wait!!

Lotte--love to you--are things going OK???

Tina. Little miss Marcy is going well. Growing so quickly its scary as I would love to have her stay a baby forever. I have a real little socialiser and chatter box. Just love her to pieces. How's those 2 beautiful boys of yours going? Is Blake still loving being Lukas's big brother? I hope Lukas is letting you get lots of sleep xx

Blake is doing a great job as big brother. He loves making Lukas laugh!! Lukas is such a great sleeper but was randomly up @ 2am last night but daddy feed him a bottle. That was probably the first time he was up in the night in the past 2 1/2 months I would say!! Can believe my baby is already 5 months old!!

So I had the midwife this morning! Blood pressure and urine all fine! Bubba has strong heartbeat and is 3/5 engaged. She thinks babies back is slightly to the left but I'm still not sure! Talked about a waterbirth so fingers crossed. Gotta keep up with being on my hands and knees. It's all feeling surreal that after everything that happened ill actually be having my rainbow very soon! Next appointment is in two weeks.

How's Everyone else?

A week and 1 day till u/s and 1st appt. Woke up not feeling well this a.m. Shakey all over i think i just still exhausted. Had crackers for breakfast and blood sugar is in my normal range. I have a continues moniter on till wed, but tgey want my insurance to buy me my own. Kids are not being good and i have to take another one to dr in about an hour so no morning nap like we are used too, so that is going to be hard on all three of us that are used to that. Oh well i will still get my nap. And tonight is the night i work till 3:30 a.m. So cant wait to get that over with.

Vicki

M2C: sounds like you are all ready. So excited for you.

Afm: went to see my doctor today. She started by congratulating me and then attempted to say that with a pmp you should typically wait a year (funny, since she told me six months). Obviously her info is out of date. I presented her with my email from Dr. Goldstein and a some of his research. She is referring me to a high risk practice to do another ultrasound in the next two weeks or so. Not sure how many visits I'll have with them, but as far as I'm concerned, the more scans the better. So all in all I think it went well. How's everyone else doing?

Vegas I'm glad to hear she was ok and great that you will get extra scans! Don't think you can tire of seeing bubba!

Good morning ladies,

- jacky / b&l'smom: Great that your rainbows are doing so fine! They are both sooo cute :)

- M2C: I had to look up for a birthing ball :) It seems similar to a pilates ball I guess?! I didn't know about them really. And 15 days! Oh my, you must be excited. I know I would!!!

- vegas: I'm with M2C. The more you see the bubba, the better :)

- vicki: hope you're feeling better after your night shift.

- AFM: I did a HPT this morning. Happily (and sadly at the same time), I think I see the faintest line possible, or no line at all! It is for sure miles lighter than last Saturday's (when HCG was 21). I hope it will be around 10ish on Saturday.

BTW, happy workers' day for us all! Even those that work as a SAHM. It really must be the hardest job ever :)

Ece I have a Pilates ball! I'm very excited! I can't believe its happening. After all the waiting I can't quite believe it. So pleased to hear there is no line or nearly no line! Your next results sound like they will be lovely and low. Yay!
