Molar and Partial Molar Pregnancy Support Group

DanO I hope you are feeling ok --still thinking of you and your angel!!

Lotte!! So great to hear from you!! That was a gorgeous pic you posted of Miss Ella the other day! Has she been trying to crawl yet?? boys are getting so big-haven't been able to find a pause button yet on either one of them.

Laura best of luck with NTNP!!

Becky--almost scan time!! I still get jealous of those innocently naive women who just get to enjoy being pregnant and don't know the pain of a loss that makes our hearts skip a beat before every listen from the Doppler or first look at a scan.

Kristen--how is it over in the legion of boom--any big Super Bowl plans?? Go Seahawks!!

I hope your levels keep dropping Sam. You had a good big drop after your d and c which is good. Fingers crossed its quickly!

Jbaby, it took 7 weeks (could have happened in 6 as at 6 was 7.5 by 7 was 2) to get below 5 or negative. Similar to Raff. My specialist was pleased with that. I don't know what my levels were pre dnc but they were 1000 a week later. Can you ring and ask the Secretary? They might give you the levels from record without realising the doc wanted to tell you?
If you are down to faint line you should be getting low. Definitely a great way to monitor it yourself. Fertility2family were quite cheap (in Aus) with free delivery and no minimum order. They have instream and dip sticks. Very cheap (like $0.25 each for some packs). They are very decrete with postage too.

Good luck with your tests this week ladies. Thinking of you xx

Thank you!! Yer fertility2family is where I always get them from :) they are so cheap!! I am gonna ask the lady when I have my next test this afternoon!

Lotte, indigo is on solids. She has 3 meals and 3-4 feeds a day. I started her off with dinner stuff like pear, apple, yogurts, bananna, sweet potato etc. she was nearly 6 months so I give get finger foods for lunch. You start when you feel Ella is ready. You know your baby. We startedcorban to young and it took a while to get used to it so I wanted to make sure indie was ready. She's still just breastfed. Ella sounds like she is doing great! Lovely weight too! Glad she was ok with your mum. Will you go back part time. So glad you popped in as it's always so lovely to hear from you.

House is just great! Soooooo much more room.

Xxx

Thanks laura. Ella is 22 weeks tomorrow, so still early. Not sure whether to do tw or blw. She is very independant so think she may do well with blw but not sure whether to mix the 2.

I will be back full time at least to start to see how it goes.

I am going to try to keep popping in, i need to make the time, because this is the best thread on this forum!

Glad the house is good!

Has af turned up, or are you still waiting?

Xx

Lotte, I'm 10 weeks now and due end of August. Getting very excited now but just trying to hold back to my 12 weeks scan (when we get back from holidays in 3 weeks) and they clear my placenta. Trying to ignore the past and be excited. Big milestone for me though, developmentally bubs (or Frankie bean as we are calling it) is beyond the 7.5 week mark where all the others stopped growing (apart from Marcy obviously) :) All looked good last week :)

Hope you enjoy being back at work in june. It is nice to use my brain for adult level things but I miss Marcy. Its funny she is always much more cuddly when I pick her up. That is a nice feeling :)

Xxx

Love frankie bean! We called ella, lulu when she was in my tummy!

3 weeks will go in no time. Where are you going on holiday?

Xx

I had a cmp and my levels were 255,000. You may drop very quickly.... Specially if your test lines are faint. Xxx

Lotte I do both with indigo and she gets on great!

Will you mum have Ella for the whole week?

No AF yet! Dunno if its just delayedbacause of the pill or me breastfeeding.

Jbaby how are you doing?

Any news from Quinn?

I'm going good, I'm having my next blood test today. It's killing me not knowing the results. The pathology wouldn't give them to me cos the doctor has to but she said not to come back til I have had them all :-(
I did a home test last Saturday and it was still positive (fainter than I was getting but still definitely there). I have ordered some internet cheapies so I can keep testing until it is negative so atleast I can see that it is going down! It is 3 weeks post d&c.......shouldn't my levels be 0 by now or because it's a partial mole it will take heaps longer?

It may take a little while more, but its great news that the tests are getting lighter.

Mine are probably not a good example because i strichtly didn't have a molar pregnancy but mine took months and months. They never actually got to less than 5 before i fell pregnant (was given ok to ttc though). After i lost that pregnancy they were less than5 within 10 days!

Stay strong, it will be over soon

Xx

Thank you ladies for your support.Im from Ohio, my numbers were 25000 before D&C, 1000 on 1/21, 995 on 1/24, 829 on 1/28. Hopefully they continue to go down.

They are dropping well. Its that they continue to drop that its important. I never had mine done bedore the d&c but three weeks after they were 1500. Five weeks after ~850.

When's your next test?

Xx

Hi Tina! Lovely to hear from you.

Yes, she is desperately trying to crawl. Unfortunately doesn't get very far - its frustrating her no end! Her little legs are going. My nephew was with her on tuesday at my mum's and he said to my mum 'look ella is crawling' - she wasn't mind!

Can't believe how big your boys are! Yes, we need a pause button!

I have a chilminder who can do 3 days a week, and then 2 days with my mum.

It can sometimes take a while from the pill. Not too sure about the bf. hope it arrives soon for you.

Xx

Just had my next blood test and asked the lady if I could have the results from last week.........she straight away said yes!! Easy as! So in a week they went from 260 to 32! Pretty relieved about that! Hopefully when I go back next week and ask for today's results they will be nearly at 0!

Fab news hun! How long did that take?

Mine were 57,000 on Monday but I'm not having them followed up for 6 weeks, hoping to be neg by then!

Fab drop jbaby!

With a drop like that, i am sure they will less than 5 today :happydance:

Xx

It has been 3 weeks since my d&c! I am happy that it has gone down that much!
Fingers crossed yours are at 0 at ur next check up Dan-o!

Jbaby that's just great news. Won't be long till 0.

Dano are charringcriss wanting urine at the 6 week mark? How you feeling?

Lotte it took nearly 2 months for AF to return when I stopped the pill with Corban. Fingers crossed something happens soon just so I know what's going on! Sounds like you have child are sorted. Will be lovely for your mum to have her 2 says.

Xxx

I think its urine for the 6w one and both for the 10w one? Same as when you have a baby anyway, I've forgotten already lol!
Feel like I'm postpartum, which is strange. Breasts a little engorged with milk, horrible water retention all over and feeling very hormonal! Yuck!
I'm going for another scan on Monday as they were concerned I wasn't having bleeding at all. Said it could be normal tho, so fingers crossed! :)

Yeah I had the same after my early mc. Are you on 6 monthly urine? Good they are giving you a scan... Better to check these things I think. Rubbish your feeling pp. hope those symptoms ease for you xxxxx

Hi ladies, well its good news from me!
My baby wasn't partial molar/triplody this time, looks like it was most likely the SCH that caused the baby to die or something else unexplained (bad luck?)
I've had an extra thorough scan today (trainee doctor and sonographer!) have no retained products and my uterus looks completely clear and normal! (Hence no bleeding) also my hcg has dropped from 57,000 to 1100, in a week!!!
So relieved! Allowed to try again as soon as we like and as we are ntnp this time, that means now. If this little one was meant to be, I believe it will come along again and stick a bit better this time round :flower: hope so! Would love a 3rd baby!
