Amazing news Mummy2corban... you must be soo pleased!!!! Im so happy for you lol!

Hope everyone else is ok

Homegrown... i too was very lucky that my levels dropped straight away, first they were around the 56,000 mark on July20 and by the end of august for my first test since d and c they were normal!! I hope you are managing ok, feel free to have a moan here, all the ladies are amazing! xxx

Mummy2Corban I am SO pleased for you!!! :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: You have coped amazingly well, I am just delighted :hugs:

HomeGrown in the UK we are reffered to specialist treatment centres who coordinate our followup monitoring. I saw my local hospital consultant a few times too but to be honest she also had a very limited knowledge of molar / partial molar pregnancies. I directed any questions etc I had to the specialist centre who were extremely knowledgable and helpful. When I fell pregnant with Oliver I had an early scan at 6 weeks to make sure everything was looking okay, and after that I was considered to be a normal / low risk pregancy. When Oliver was born I had to send several samples for testing, and after any future pregnancies etc I will always have to send samples for monitoring. I hope that helps :hugs:

I hope you're all well, I keep popping in but I'm so busy I hardly ever have time to reply. I do think of you all though :hugs:

Ladies!!! My levels are NORMAL! As of the 4th nov! I finsih chemo on the 9th Dec! I hae my finish line! I had lots of tears but im just so happy i know my treatment is gonna finish soon. Also on the good side i only have 1 blood test a week from now on 2!!!! YES!!

WAHOO!!!!! The end is near--1 month and 1 day to go!!

Ill be starting my ttc count down once treatment is over and i was just wondering what you ladies did/will do to get your bodies ready? Like prenatals etc?

xxx

I'm still doing prenatals as my prescription is good until July. Luckily the pharmacy can't really look at me too closely to see that I'm no longer pregnant with winter coat/sweaters on lol. Also before we knew I had a PM pregnancy I was concerned about nausea with my next pregnancy as it was so strong last time, and my midwife recommended starting on B6--so I've been doing that just because I bought it right after that appointment so I figured I might as well do it. Also I plan on charting temps which I haven't even done before to know what is "normal" for when AF returns and while I'm waiting for the OK to TTC again. I'm excited to hear what others have done/will do--thanks for asking this question mummytocorban!!

i Cant take prenatals as yet but once my chemo has finished hopefully i can start taking them. Im gonna do ovulation tests and think about doing the whole temperature thing. Just want to know everything is working for ttc! I was gonna start a work out dvd to loose my baby weight but with all this feeling sick Ive lost it all already..... Could probably do some sit ups to try tonnes my belly. O! And ill be doing my pelvic floor exercises!! He he he! Xxx

We both took prenatal vitamins, and although we were both pretty fit and heathy we joined a gym and started working out which was good. My hubby also stopped smoking.

I tracked my cycle which was good 'practise' for TTC and was also really interesting!

I've posted about this book before but I really found it SO good, some of the TTC books were just depressing but this was one wonderful.

I also bought this which I loved, I used to stick in my OPK's and things  I threw it away because it got wet when I left it by an open window and I really wish I hadn't :dohh:

my hcg this week is 94. it was 290 last week. I see that the drop is getting slower and slower each week...

and the real countdown begins now... I really wonder when it will be 5 and below...

How is everybody today?

Mine slowed right down at the end too! It will happen soon enough though xxx

That is a great drop!! I got switched to every two weeks since my decrease was slowing down--wont go again until Tuesday!!

Hi ladies, hope your all doing ok? Im feeling a little anxious atm... I 'feel' pregnant! I'm getting so many symptoms and trying my hardest not to symptom spot but its difficult! Im not due for AF umtil tues, but i did a test yesterday (couldn't resist ) and there is the faintest line ever, hubby can't see it, so I did a tescos test tonight as they have never lied to me before and either I have line eye or there is another really faint line again! It's my birthday monday and I'm gonna do my best to hold off until then before I test again, cause that will be an amazing birthday pressie :) ! sorry for rambling but I am a little excited and didn't know where else to post Xxx

Ok here are the tests but like i said they are really faint, hubby cant see them, i am gonna post it in the test forum too see if any one will tweak it for me xx

Rachieroo - Good luck!! hope it's good news!

Ladies, I have strep throat, and I got prescribed anti-biotics by the doctor at the walk in clinic. He said that it could effect the hcg levels. It could make it rise or drop. Any ladies take anti-biotics lately? Did it effect your hcg levels? I really don't want them to rise again... =S

Also, my period showed up today. 25 days since the d&c. Is this a good sign? I've never ever been early before. I was 28 -30 days...

Thanks

I feel like I can see something in the top pic on the first test, and in the 2nd pic on the bottom test--can you get your hands on a FRER and test again??

Tung--I thought I had AF about 27 days after my D&C but it only last 1 day--spotting the next and done by the third--so not sure if I've had a proper AF yet--I guess I will know in a few days as that last one was Oct. 18th

Blakesmom - did you have cramps as well? my bleeding is accompanied by minor cramps... =S

I guess I will know in a few days if it is actually AF or not...

As for my anti-biotics.. i dont think i'm going to take it... I don't want anything to increase my hcg levels

Rachieroo- Any news? i think i can see a line on one of your tests!! I really hope this is it for you!! Keep us updated lovely.

Tung- I didnt really get alot of cramping for my first period....im hoping ill be regular ago.As for the antibiotics i wouldnt know?! Have you googled it?!?

Hoe is everyone else?

xxxx

I never have gotten cramps during or before AF that were too noticeable--so can't remember if I did or not---nothing ibuprofen or tylenol couldn't handle!!
