We send roughly $500 to the bank every month and less than $100 goes to our principle. "/ we didn't even get $1000 to our principle balance last year! Of course we could send extra just for the principle but we don't have that money right now..

Plus nobody will hire me so we can send extra, UGHHHHH I hate interest, I hate employers, and I hate that I can't do anything about it

It is really crazy how much interest the banks make on mortgages. We just got our statement for the year and we paid way more in interest than principle, even though we overpay. No wonder the banks are all so rich!
