Could do with bending you ears a little..
Can any of you give me experience of what it's like to have 2 under 2's?
How they are with each other?
How much harder is it than having one?
If you take them out, how do you do it?
And generally any advice or examples.
Thanks in advance :flow:

Hi

I have a 23 mth old and a five week old and I have to be honest it's pretty hard. My toddler is going through terrible twos and even though she likes baby jasmine she is pretty rough with her. Impossible to get anything done when she is awake as I cant leave her for a second with the baby but hoping this gets better soon.

I think it will be great in a few mths though :)

I would not change it for anything x

oh and I've taken them out with hubby but on my own we have only got as far as toddlers as Im too scared to go anywhere else yet :)

Hi there -

I have one 18 month old and a 9 week old. It's hard and I have some really bad days - but I did when I just had one!! - but all in all I absolutely love it!! Life is very very busy but in some ways I find the pressure is off with two as I keep telling myself I'm not superwoman!! There are days with lots of crying and not much respite but because I went through all of this with my first born I know it gets much easier and I've just got to grit my teeth and get through this stage!! I really do enjoy it though....I say go for it!!

xx

There are tough moments, but it's ok, just don't expect too much from yourself. Sometimes one of the babies will cry and you'll have to deal with the other one, and thats alright. Sometimes you will get no housework done and that's fine. CBeebies will become a constant companion and that's ok. ;)

I will have a newborn when my little lady is 14 months old so I too greatly appreciate the advise :flower: I am super excited!

i find having two is easier than being a new mum to one - you just know what you are doing and the baby just slots in. You probably already know how to manage time too.

I hate when strangers say "ooh you have your hands full" when im out. Its not that bad!! I find things much better.

My oldest found it all strange and its only now shes become affectionate with the little one. Before, she didnt bother, but she would help us with nappy changes

Routine helps, my oldest knows what to expect with nightime routines etc for both of them, so allows a bit patience!

Serious though, i love it. We have a side by side city mini baby jogger buggy. It fits through most doorways and isnt huge, so we can get on buses too!

I live in a stair so i tend to take the oldest down, put her in the buggy and shes quite happy to wait for me to go back up bring the baby down.

For me, its been way way easier than i dreamed.
