My first Midwife appt today !!!!

After what seems like forever ( three weeks) I finally get my first appt today.
I don't know when she will send me for a U/S but this is at least the first step

Good Luck!!! I had mine around the same time. Was a long appointment filling in all the paperwork and going through medical history etc. My Midwife booked my scan while I was there

Well I have been and the midwife is concerned because my one side is tender ( I only have one tube so she worries) so I am going for a U/S at 2:30pm this afternoon..
Sucks since we live about 30 min from the hospital.. I have to drive back again in one day !!
I am nerves and excited..
I have to take my 18 month old with me because there is no time to make arrangments
I hope she can stay still long enough !!

Well I am back..

There was one very beautiful gest. sac and yolk with one lil' with a strong heartbeat.. right where it is suppose to be !!

The tech had to show me what I was looking at but the sac was high enough in the uterus that I didn't have to have a enternal U/S

I have a very large cyst on my left overy where probably the eggy was released... they said they will have to keep an eye on it but it should go away on it's own..

My dates are bang on.. I am apprx. 6 weeks and 2 days

I will go back again at 12 weeks for another U/S..

My next midwife appt is Oct 12th

Thank you HappyMomma...I think it depends on where in CA you are, as to our time frames. I am on Pacific time, as I am in California.

My ob visit was GREAT!!!

I had a quick scan and baby is doing GREAT!!!! HB is 167, my BP is down from what it was in June, which is great too!
