i know your question was for abigail, but thought maybe i'd give you some insight, too. i'm sorry you guys had a fight. that totally sucks. i get where you're coming from. you've got to think about it from his perspective, too.
guys don't think about having sex to have a baby. they think about sex to have sex - because it's enjoyable.
most guys don't enjoy the logistical talk - opk's, tests, cervical mucus, timing. it's a total turnoff. and in his mind, he feels like you're obsessed with it (and we DO get obsessed with it sometimes, and need to be careful about that!). he's probably totally freaked out by this fertility-specialist-person that he's married to now. you've been telling him that it's time to have sex so that you can get pregnant. nothing irritates a husband more than that.
make any sense?
he didn't need to be so irritable, but maybe you can look at it from his perspective, too. that's what marriage is all about

lol..I agree with jtink about husbands getting annoyed with the baby talk. Honestly, I have horrible baby brain it's pretty much all I ever think about..and even though my husband shares my hopes for a baby he most definitely does not think about it the entire day like I do nor want to talk about it the entire day like I do...it doesn't mean they don't care they're just not wired to care as much as we do lol I'll be 8dpo tomorrow which is still very early to test..I've heard of some women getting very faint bfp's at 8 or 9po though. I figure I'll start testing tomorrow and just continue every morning until I get a bfp or af. If I were you I'd wait until at least 8dpo to start testing, if you don't have many tests I'd wait until longer than that, like 10-12 dpo so you're not wasting them.

Have you tried talking to him about it? Sometimes guys are dumb and they don't realize they're being hurtful until you say something about it.

Hi dears, ....sunflower82, abbagail14 & jtink.. missed u guys . Hope everyone is doing fine. I was just trying NOT to be on the Internet or this site or researching about conception etc. It really worked! I'm sorry to say this but following threads etc takes over your mind sometimes. You guys should try it. Try occupying with other stuff for a while...doesn't mean not checking in on this site, just not letting it take over. I mean well for us all so hope no one gets upset.
Afm I'm still waiting to O. Today I felt a very little wetness but nothing much. I'm using clearblue digit opk so tomorrow I'll test twice and following days three time until I get a :smile:
As for my hubby, ... this baby making talk seemed to turn him off last month so I'm not saying anything about it. I'm also starving him of sex. I'll probably do something sexy suddenly to get him in bed .....when I get a pos opk. Lol tx for us all.

so my best friend has announced today that she is once again pregnant. (this is the same friend who worried after 2 months that she was infertile. she already has a 2 year old)

Aww hope this will your month too. I feel 'bad when people keep rubbing in my face ' how they're pregnant and it makes my heart ache when I see pregnant women or babies..... and they're Everywhere! Lol
