Hi Ladies,

I am very new to this site so a little back ground info first!

We have been trying to conceive for 3 months I know it isnt that long incomparasion but to be honest feels like a life time. For the last 2 months I have had negative ovulation results. I am worried that this means I'm not ovulating even though I have regular periods?

Has anyone else been through this? and does anyone have any info to let me know.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Vicky

Have you tried buying cheap tests and testing 3 times a day?

hi no i havent - reading the instructions on the box i thought i had to wait 48 hours till i tested again!

Hiya Dan's girl.
I don't want to scare you as its still really early days. Back when we started trying for children i tried to use OPK's but could never get a positive. I think this was partly due to my irregular period patterns (not testing at the right times) but also as i've found out now, my PCOS. I have a hormonal imbalance which means my body doesn't produce the right amount of the hormone which would show you a positive on the ovulation test. (this is what the doctor said but I am now on pills that help that).

I really don't want to worry you. How many days of the cycle are you testing on? Do you keep at BBT chart as this could really help you see if your temperaute shifts.

Good luck!!

Hi Milliemoo,

Thanks for your reply, I am testing from the 12 to the 17 day of my monthly cycle. I think i'll make an appoinment with the doctor just to see what he recommends.

Thanks
Vicky
