Nervous but hopeful!

So, a little history…

I got my very first BFP in October, only to start bleeding a few days later (chemical pregnancy).

We started tying again immediately and got another BFP in November but betas never progressed past 29 and bleeding started about early December (another CP).

We took a cycle off, and just started to try again. Today (5DPO) I couldn’t help myself from taking a test (took it this afternoon, not FMU) and I believe I got a very faint positive.

Please send some good vibes this way that these lines get super dark!

Congrats hun! Having had several losses myself I can understand those feelings exactly. Fx that it gets darker for you but I would say that is a good line for how early you are

Are you SURE you're 5dpo???? The egg doesn't typically even implant until around 6dpo......

Whatever day you are that is clearly a BFP!!! Congrats!!!! I bet it'll keep getting darker in the next few days! Very exciting!

I am not 100% positive about when I ovulated. I got my period Jan 1st and started using the Clear Blue ovulation tests right around when I thought I was ovulating just to double check. According to those I ovulated Jan 17th and today is the 22nd so....

Going to test again tomorrow FMU to see where I'm at

So after my betas came back at a 2 on January 26th I was sent to a specialist because they thought it was my third CP. He did a ton of tests on January 31st (all of the prenatal and genetics stuff).

I was supposed to go in for a water ultrasound tomorrow but they called to tell me that they can't do it because my pregnancy hormones we still elevated which totally threw me for a loop (because they were at a 2) so I asked what they are and apparently they went up 13!

I am so confused because I was bleeding heavily this weekend, but why are my levels going UP?

During the last blood test I was 14 or 15 DPO.

Have you done any more pregnancy tests? Are they any darker? It could be any number of things. A friend of mine, her mum when pregnant with her lost her twin early on so that was the cause of her bleeding. I had unexplained bleeds early in my pregnancies but went on to have healthy babies. When I mc I didn't stop bleeding heavily for longer than a normal period and I lost all my pregnancy symptoms literally overnight.
I have Googled quickly and seen that hCG at 15dpo can vary anywhere between 17- over 100, other websites state different levels. I think my only concern would be ectopic, and I don't say that to frighten you or make you lose hope in any way, but it's good to be aware just in case. I have read that with ectopics hCG levels can rise very slowly and of course cause bleeding. But usually, I think, it's accompanied by obvious pain.
I think all you can do for now is have bloods redone, perhaps pee on a few more sticks and see if they darken while you await blood results.
Are you certain you were 5dpo when you took that first test? It's just a really strong line for so early on, especially when usually you don't even implant until later than 5dpo (although I have read you can implant earlier), I wonder if it's possible there may have been more than one in there initially and that's why you got such a strong line so early, and the bleed? I don't know, I'm guessing is all. I hope this turns out good for you x
