Yes! Avoid them. They sometimes take forever to change from 1-2 to 2-3 to 3+ and it will scare the bejesus out of you - usually unnecessarily.

Morning all!
AFM - 10DPO. My cramping picked up and the spotting turned from pink to brown yesterday evening. I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle. Seeing the new OBGYN tomorrow afternoon.

I wish I could give you some hopeful words. Brown is usually good since it's old blood, but pink is almost always bad, and I see that your temp is staying down, too. Do you normally have a short LP?

Are they relatively good at at least telling you yes or no? I have an insurance card where i can get them for free technically so thats what i have on hand if it comes down to it i will go buy some because after seeing a faint line idk if I can wait 6 more days til af

Yes. They will tell you yes or no. Their sensitivity is 25. So, they're actually pretty good.

Why not? At 13 DPO, I would suspect a pregnant result unless you are a really late implanter.

I actually gave in and called my doctor to see if they think blood work would be effective at this point.

I am waiting to hear back from them! I am hoping either tomorrow or monday the longer it takes the more I will test haha

I can relate! I test early and often. lol. My OB will not do blood work until AF is late. My RE (reproductive endocrinologist/ fertility specialist) at least would test early if I got a positive test!

I am hoping they will since I got a faint positive I also used the excuse that I have irregular cycles and think I ovulated early

Hello! New to this forum!

I'm nearing the very end of my first TWW. It has been a rollercoaster! It's my first month of BCP in many years so a lot of the symptoms I've been experiencing are probably related to that, and not being pregnant.

I've had very very sore bbs, which I have never had in the past before AF, digestive issues, and cramping. The symptoms were really noticeable from 8DPO through 11DPO, and now they're subsiding.

I'm currently at 13 DPO. I tested at 11DPO and got a BFN. I should be getting AF today if my cycle is the same length as it was pre-BFP but honestly who knows.

Not sure when to test again. I don't like wasting tests and I really don't like getting BFNs!
