Hi ladies,

My baby is 5 weeks old and we are already thinking of when to try again.

I have been diagnosed with having a low egg count and as I'm only 25 this is not a good situation to be in 😢 we have been told to have babies now as the older I get the harder it will be because I don't have many eggs left 😢. It took us quite a while to have our daughter as you would see from reading my posts so fingers crossed it will happen quicker this time.

I am going to get tested again to see if anything changed since having DD I doubt it but I can dream.

We are thinking of trying again around Christmas when our daughter will be 10 months old.

How did u know you have a low egg count? Does it cost to get tested? Thanks

I went to the doctor because we were getting worried it was taking so long. She sent me for all the normal tests such as hormone tests and poly cystic ovaries and all came back normal. My doctor then suggested an egg count tests or an amh test as it's known. She gave me the number for a fertility clinic and 3 days later I got the test. It was a blood test and cost €150. They phoned me a week later with the results
