New Here :-(

hi all, i'm new to this group so let me tell you a little about myself...

I'm 24, and currently 34wks pregnant with my first baby. As of 2 days ago I became a single parent. I cant really go into details, but this is due to an ongoing police investigation into FOB. Due to this investigation (and that I have submitted a witness statement) he is allowed no contact with me at all. He will also not be allowed any contact with my baby when its born. I am pleased about this, as at least I wont have to fight for him not to get access rights etc, but over the last 2 days I feel like my whole world has been ripped apart

I now have approx 6wks before LO arrives to get my head around being a sinlge mum! And tbh, i might have LO early as I also have GD and I'm baking a little fatty lol

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself with a little of my background and say hi xx

whats worse atm is i'm still working and i actually work with FOB!!! Luckily its completely different shifts, but still....i'm back in tomorrow (havent been in since Tues as havent felt up to it) and im really nervous! Weird huh? x

Hiya Im newly single and have an 18 month old daughter - must be touch being so heavily pregnant but as the others have said this board is a great place to have a rant and chat to others in similar situations, all the best with the pregnancy etc xx

thanks again ladies, have been finding the last couple of days getting easier...I think i'm slowly but surely getting there and adjusting to this. Ok, its a bit weird not only trying to adjust to the fact i'll be a mum in less than 6wks, but also now adjusting to being a single one at that...i havent got much time to figure it all out lol
