I was wondering if this is normal.. My almost 2 weeks old little boy has boobs ( knots underneath nipple area). I am Pumping if that makes any different? should i talk to his doctor about it

I think I read somewhere that your hormones can cause temporary boobs in babies and sometimes little girls have a little bleeding.

Many parent’s will notice that their baby seems to have swelling under their nipples, sometimes it is both nipples at other times it may be asymmetrical. There should not be any redness and the area should not be tender. If you are feeling the area you may note a small moveable mass beneath the nipple. All of this is very normal and the benign breast enlargement is due to maternal hormones that influences the baby’s breast tissue.

It's normal, but I would call your Dr just to be sure about the redness.

My son had this, it passed in just under a week :) midwife said it was fine and his were a bit red too x

Normal! Our little boy had (probably still has) little knots under his nipples, and they were red for a while! Our ped said totally normal.

thanks.. i will call his dr just to be on the safe side

Yep totally normal, my ped told me this today at our 2 week check up :)

Both of my boys had this. My 4 week old boy actually lactated a little bit and it definitely caught me off guard! If it's hot to the touch or your baby gets a fever don't hesitate to call, when I was looking at info on babies lactating I found that they can actually get mastitis.

Ouch! Mastitis hurts i feel so bad for babies that get it!

It's normal, it will be your hormones. I bf my LO and she had lumps in her boobs until she was around a year old at least. We got it checked by the doctor and she said it was just normal hormones.
