Does anyone else not feel pregnant? Granted, I'm only 4w5d, but I have no symptoms at all. And emotionally, I feel like I won't let myself believe it. I even tested again this morning because I convinced myself that the test I took last week must have been a false positive.

Not feeling like I'm pregnant is actually helping me to not worry so much. But at the same time, I'm concerned that if this little bean actually sticks, that I won't be able to bond and really enjoy my pregnancy.

Does anyone else feel this way? If you did in the beginning, did you find you were eventually able to bond and connect with your baby while you were pregnant? When did it start to feel real?

i've not felt pregnant the whole way so far :) not a symptom or anything...

I didnt feel bad until about 6 weeks and started to feel better in week 15. I still don't have much of a bump, but I am feeling baby albeit with no set pattern, so sometimes its real, sometimes not. I think that things will be different in a few weeks but sometimes I do forget im pregnant !!!

I am over 12 weeks now. At your stage i did not feel pregnant either. But when i hit 5 and half weeks i got bad morning sickness (which i still have now) extreame tiredness and dizziness. I do feel pregnant now and hoping that all the symptoms will start to ease up soon. It is quite normal for many women who are going to get these symptoms to get them a bit later (5 - 6 weeks) so enjoy the time you feel normal!

Thanks ladies. It's more the emotional than the physical for me right now though. It's almost like I can't let myself believe it, because if I believe it it will be worse if I lose this pregnancy too. I almost feel like having some physical symptoms would be reassuring.

I know what you mean Magnolia. You need to feel something just to reassure yourself that everything is going well!

I've only just started to feel a bit 'odd' this week. Not really nauseous, just not quite right in myself - it's a bit if a pain, but it's a welcome one as it reassures me that something is going on in there ;-)
