Not ovulating!

Grrrrrr..... I'm on CD 25 and I still haven't ovulated! I normally ovulate on CD 20-21. I'm going crazy. We've been having sex almost ever day for 2 weeks! While I LOVE sex, it would be nice not to HAVE to have it, u know.

Anyone else have this happen to them? I just want to ovulate already!!!! I really think this month is a wash, though. I heard the longer it takes to ovulate the less likely u are to get pregnant because your uterine lining is so old

This sucks. I can NOT keep this up. I'm only on cycle 2 and I'm already crazy!

Really feel for you...I had exactly the same last month! I use an iPhone app that is supposed to predict when you O...it told me it would be CD22, so for the four days before that we BD'd every day...and every other day the week before...but I didn't actually O until CD27 (!) and poor DH was so exhausted by then that we only BD'd once (on CD26) the whole time. Needless to say, we didn't catch the egg.
I guess what you're having is just a very late O this month - poor you. Were you on bcp or anything? I came off it last August after 10 years, so have been thinking that that was the reason why I O so late or why my cycles are so erratic. But just to conflict with that, I have heard that the pill just 'masks' what your cycles were like before, so not 100% sure things were 'normal' anyway.

Anyway, just wanted to say you're not alone...my guess is you will O any day now - so just keep the faith and try to keep BD-ing! Are you using OPKs? That should help...xx

do you check your cervix position regularly? If you barely can reach it, O should be really near

Morticia-I was on bcp for 3 months when we first got married, and then I got off because they made me emotional/crazy. It was awful. So my cycles had gotten pretty regular. I think it's because I've been on a real health kick and lost 5-7 lbs. In the past whenever I lose weight it affects O, so that's probably it. I don't use OPK's, I take my bbt. OPK's seem expensive, but I might start using them in August if I don't get preggers before then.
Luckily, my DH and I have ridiculous sex drives, so we're doing okay lol I think I need to spice things up, though. I just don't like to feel forced to have sex. You know? It's more fun when it's spontaneous.

Bunnylicious-My cervix has been soooo weird! Ever since last month my cervix has stayed high/soft. It's soooo weird!

I absolutely empathize with you! Like Morticia, I have an iPhone app with ovulation prediction but my cycles just kept dragging out and getting longer...and longer...we'd start out BDing regularly but it gets to feeling like work!

I look back at our history and it's clear that we'd basically tire out the week before I O'd and miss the egg every time. So frustrating!

So don't give up! It's good that you have the sex drive, because I sure don't, haha. Hang in there, keep an eye on your CM, and keep BDing! I really don't know about the age of the lining affecting chances for pregnancy--I've never heard that before.

Thanks everyone! I FINALLY ovulated April 13th. So now I'm in the TWW. I actually had really fertile EWCM for the first time in months, so I feel pretty good about this month! Luckily I had a second wind w/ my sex drive. I tried really hard to make it fun
