*~*November Autumn Acorns 2013 Babies <3 19 Acorns*~*

Awwwww congrats sugarplum! Dh and I were hoping for twins the first time we got pregnant. Now that we are pregnant again with a 7 month old dd already, I think just one will be enough but would certainly love twins too!

Its a nightmare these early days. Everytime I feel wet I start panicking, even though I know increase CM is a pregnancy side effect.

For those who are pregnant with #2 have you had any moments where you think "Oh god can I do this?" our LO has been really really ill since Friday with a sickness and diarroeah bug and there have been times I've honestly wondered if we are doing the right thing and if I could cope with two. I just wondered if it's normal to have those thoughts? It seems like a big jump going from one to two.

I have felt that. I always feel guilty as I'm a fertility clinic patient so injections every day for two months and four cycles before that with clomid and it's awful side effects. Wouldn't I think my head was screwed on right after that? DD has been cutting her 2 yr molars and I know some kids don't even notice but she has been awful about every single tooth she has cut and every one has been progressively worse so I can only imagine that two yr molars might actually be the death of me. She didn't sleep last night until 1:30am. Not in our bed or her crib. She just wasn't having it. Those are the days I wonder....

Plus starting in June, I will be by myself for a year because DH goes off to training for the Navy, to become an Engineering Duty Officer and he needs to qualify on a submarine. So 4-6 of those months he will be on a sub and I won't be able to talk to him at all. Not even so much as an email. *sigh* It's likely he'll be on the sub after the baby arrives though, but not much after.

Hiya,

I am due in November (date tbc at next scan), but as I am pregnant with twins I will prob have them in October. I have 3 children already, 10, nearly 9 and nearly 6 and this was to be our 4th and last, but we had a little surprise at early pregnancy scan!!

I had Breast Cancer age 29 - 3 years ago so have spent the last 3 years having surgery, chemo, radiotherapy, meds. I was actually on Tamoxifen for the Cancer when falling pregnant which I have now found out is used for fertility and stimulates the ovaries....probably the reason for twins! No breastfeeding for me as I had a double mastectomy, but guess that means no sore and swollen boobs after birth!

Anyway, nice to 'meet' you all :) xxx

Congrats about surviving cancer and about your wonderful set of twins! :D What a miracle. :hugs: I will add you to Nov 1st for now, since it is likely you will go in October anyway.

Wow, sugarplum, what a story! And well done on beating cancer and then conceiving. What an inspiration you must be to so many mummies! This may not be something that would interest you at all, but I think if I were in your shoes, I'd want to know so I could have the option, so I feel I should mention it...if you're wanting to ensure your little ones get breastmilk, have a nose at HM4HB UK, which is a milksharing page. Congratulations again!

Wow, lots of inspiring stories on here! I got a positive test last Friday and the lines were darker Sunday and again today, so here I am...only 2 months after miscarrying my first pregnancy. I'm glad to see so many rainbows on here as well, first trimester is a roller coaster! Due 16 November according to FF. Don't know when I'll have a scan -- I'll have to pay for it if it's before 20 weeks I think, so I might as well have one early and see how things are going. Fortunately it's not too expensive here. Hope you're all having a lovely day!

Welcome! :flower:

I've added you.

Btw: I hope I haven't forgotten anyone along the way.

Afm- today I am feel quite awful! A triple whammy of awful bloat, tired as hell, hungry as hell but sick and can't bring myself to eat much. It's pretty bad today.

Tomorrow is my scan!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!! My terror has subsided a little, I think because my symptoms have come back full force. Especially the tired. Nausea is still a bit less than before but with DD I had mild nausea too. Also, because I'm now more pregnant than I was with my miscarriages. So I'm hoping that is worth some positivity.

I want to know if the baby is a singleton or twins! (I only suspect twins because I know I had three mature follicles at ovulation.)

I had three too! Fingers crossed for twins! I'd be so happy. My scan isn't for two weeks though!

My scan isn't for two more weeks either :(

At least I'll get my betas back tomorrow. Fingers crossed they are doubling like they should!

Feeling sick, lied in bed munching on breadsticks :(
Nearly the end of week 6! I'm so glad :)
Booking appt next week and I might try and push for a scan!

Good luck at scan today casey.

I have my first docs appointment
Today and will get a date to see the midwife!

X

Hey Everyone: I found a November group that was started before this one so I'm going to join that group and discontinue this one. Please feel free to hop over to the one that was created first too. Lots more girls there! Can't believe I never found it before creating this one. LOL :dohh:

Hi can I join? I am due November 8! My BFP was a much-needed surprise! I got my very first BFP around this time last year but ended up miscarrying at 12 weeks :flower:
