*~*November Autumn Acorns 2013 Babies <3 19 Acorns*~*

Oh, and other than some cramps/twinges, I have pretty much no symptoms. But that's how my pregnancies have been in the past, so I'm trying not to worry.

I AM worried about these twinges, though. I get them on both sides, but stronger on my left (where my ectopic was). It's a little less worrisome since they're on both sides, but they really scare me. When should I really worry? I didn't have pain from my ectopic until much later and luckily by then it was already being treated. What do you ladies think? Do any of you get these twinges? Or are they just normal?

I have been getting slight twinges. Sometimes I get pressure too. Like deep in my low abdomen. As if my uterus was pushing downward. I get worried sometimes when it gets more than mild achy. I believe that as long as its not excruciating and accompanie by blood it's normal.

I ha my ectopic on the right side and sometimes that side hurts a little more too.

Added you btw. :) welcome and hope this is your sticky rainbow baby! There are a lot of women on the board so far with a recent past ectopic. Lots of rainbow babies.

Thanks, Casey! I did have spotting with my ectopic and none at all this time so that does make me feel better. It never gets excruciating, but definitely noticeable.

I'm really hoping we all get our rainbow babies this time!

Are you dehydrated by chance? Of you are it will cause your uteruto cramp a little because it's working hard to expand and needs the extra hydration, just a thought, hope it helps

I've just got back from my first midwife appy and am now officially pregnant with maternity notes and everything. Have to go back for a double appy in 2 weeks for full history and then I've got my early scan the Friday of the same week. Due to my age I'm going to have consultant led care, which I already knew as I had the same with my youngest. As funny as it sounds the midwife was really happy with how bad the MS has been and the fact I got a 3+ at 4 weeks as it means I have loads of hormones pumping through me.

I keep wondering if I should be telling my GP yet, or should I wait until the 8 week scan at the clinic? I mean, it could be nothing, so I guess I should wait? (Hate waiting!)

Had to drive into the city today (that's almost 3 hours on the road) and I'm so so so nauseous after it. When I got home I could barely stand from being so dizzy, and just crashed for a couple of hours. Still don't feel great, but have at least eaten.

Wife has been busy doing all the housework and I feel like a giant shit. :nope:

She says she doesn't mind and that it's my job to grow the baby, but I still feel like an ass.

Less than 3 weeks til our scan! I ended up having to tell my boss and a senior colleague because it took me 30 minutes to complete a simple task while dodging waves of nausea! lol But I can't wait to tell my mother.

Rang her on her birthday (65) and she was busy organising a baby shower for my cousin's girlfriend and she kept digging, asking really specific questions and I had to lie! I just don't want to put her through anything if the scan is negative, you know? I'm going to have to avoid talking on the phone for the next three weeks! I think she's just seeing her youngest sister become a grandmother and she's really wishing for it now...

Tower, I very well could be dehydrated. I've been drinking much more than I usually do, but my pee is still pretty dark and has been since I found out I was pregnant (sorry if tmi). I'll try upping the water intake.

Firefly, yay for a good appointment!!

J.D., that's a tough call. I called my midwife the day after I got my positive, so I might be the wrong person to give you advice on waiting lol. I know you feel bad, but just be happy that you have such a supportive spouse! She wouldn't do it if she didn't want to =)

Anyone else extremely lightheaded even after eating? I am so nauseas today. It literally just hit and I was so worried about feeling nothing! I just got my prescription prenatals and I'm staring at the bottle wondering how im gonna get it down lol

I can cope with the sickness it is the tiredness that is killing me.

I've been extremely tired too. Two naps a day and I still fall right to sleep at night. I usually wake up at 4am and can't seem to get back to sleep though. Anyone else?

A little headache and that's about it. The nausea has actually not been as bad lately. Can't tell why. I do still get nauseous but it isn't the 8 hr ordeal from afternoon to evening anymore. BBs still hurt and I'm SO tired. However, maybe my MS has changed times and I haven't noticed yet. I took another HPT (even though my HCG is pretty high) and it was AS dark if not (DH says) darker than the control line. So hopefully that's all good news. My HCG betas were rescheduled to tomorrow because of a snow storm that turned out to be a dud. I'm thinking the betas will be close if not over 2000 tomorrow. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Uterus has been pulling and pinching more lately. I didn't know about the dehydration thing. I have been upping my water intake but it could also do for more. I'm trying to drink three tumblers worth of water every day not including the glass of juice I'm trying to add and seltzer every now and then.

I'm so bloated too that I can't comfortably fit in any jeans except the maternity ones from when I was 30lbs heavy and they FALL OFF ME. But i'd rather have LOOSE clothing than tight because tight clothes is just too unbearable at this point.

i have been tsirt making i ave printed a baby on board sign on one so i will wear it round my mums and see if she notices but to be fair once i peed on the stick my belly popped out and i bought mat jeans this week guess its coz its number 4 in three years

How is everyone? Does anyone else get hyperemesis?
I'm 5 weeks today and really struggling. Not kept anything down today, not even water and not sure how long I can cope without hospitslisation.

Oh no Firef1y72 thats not good. I hope you are feeling better soon.

CaseyBaby718, you are so luck to get nap time. I have to leave for work at 7am and don't get home till 6pm. So long days for me :nope:.
On a positive note I have my midwife appointment booked for the 21st at 7 weeks. It should have been 8 but we are on holiday for week 8 and 9 so she has agreed to see me early :hugs:

Sorry about your awful MS firef1y. :( My MS has actually started lessening. I don't really know why because my HCG levels today were 2144. I'm thinking it'll just come back with a vegence soon. BBs still sore and tired!!

I only get naps because I'm a SAHM and yesterday was a snow day and DH got to take care of DD most of the day, so I took advantage and got two naps. DH was off today too but we had a lot of appts to go to for our wills and deployment readiness so I only got like a 10 minute nap in the car on the way to and fro. DD was in daycare. She loves it there. I can usually get one good nap in with DD during regular days when she's napping. :)

I don't have any real symptoms either and it's terrifying me. DH said I could get an early scan around 8 weeks if I find the money. We're doing our house up so any spare money is being used for that :/
I still haven't rung the doctor, I'm going to ring this afternoon while my son naps.

Xx

Hello can I tentatively join you all, I have just got a BFP this morning :)

I must admit it was a bit of a shock as we only started trying for #2 last month, hadn't thought it would happen that quickly as I only came off my bcp at the end of January.

We already have a little boy who has just turned 2. I'm a little nervous as before we had our son we had an MMC and didn't find out until I was 13 weeks at our scan. This time we will be doing what we did in my last pregnancy and paying for a private early scan at around 8 or 9 weeks for peace of mind.

My due date is 9th November according to the calculators.

Im nervous about how little to no symptoms ive had.... Anyone else feel (scarily) "normal"?

I've not really got much either. Other than sore boobs not reallt got any other noticeable symptoms. With my first prgnancy I was stupidly tired and as sick as a dog from the moment I found out and all the way through the whole first trimester so it was even more of a shock to find out we'd had an MMC. When I was pregnant with DS my sense of smell was ridiculously sensitive and my MS started kicking in around the 7 week period although it wasn't as bad as the previous time.

Sticky :dust: for everyone :)

Welcome!! Added you.

H&H 9 months to you!

My first scan is next Friday the 15th!!! I am so excited and terrified all at once. I'm hoping everything is perfect but at the same time all my anxieties are coming up. Worrying about seeing the heartbeat or being told its a missed MC. :( I just can't stop being worried. I just want everything to be okay.

*sigh* needing more positive thinking.

That's great! You won't be wry far along ad should see a HB.
I'm worried about MMC this time but no scan for me till 12 weeks :(
I'm going to be terrified!

I know a lot about pregnancies and miscarriages as my mom has 13 kids and 9 mc's but what is a missed miscarriage?
