I saw my midwife yesterday, I have a new one to the old bag I had with Amber...and she is lovely!!

She mentioned about waiting til after my next consultant appointment then speaking to a consultant midwife that specialises in VBACS...but as I had had 2 sections there is quite a few factors against me...if I wasn't to progress quick enough in labour they would do another section, same as if I went so far past due date they would section rather than induce...

I dunno I think I would be terrified of say going 10 days over, going through labour to some extent then ending up with a section anyway...so do I just go straight through with an elective, knowing this will be my last baby?

it all depends on how bad you would like to try a VBAC? perhaps you could say 'if baby hasn't arrived by ___date then c-section is booked for ___ date'
maybe?

i'd like a VBAC birth because i never actually pictured Pixie being delivered the way she did if that makes sense? if factors are against me though i think i would go for an elective section after my due date

Completely off topic...but those of you that had vaginal births...at what rate did you dilate?...was it roughly 1cm per hour?

I was 1cm at 8pm and fully dilated by 1am but had been contracting for 24 hours by then. x

i know what you mean. i was kinda pissed off at my birth - i managed to get to 8cm before getting told she was breech! and i managed to get there with no pain relief! just a tens machine

i didn't really have the option of a natural breech delivery either

lets see i got to the hospital at 7pm and they said i'm in early labour they wont do an internal

at 10 pm i was still in early labour and they didn't want to do an internal

at 12 midnight i wanted an epidural so they said they'll do an internal just to check and i was 10 cm and she was born at 12:20am

so the only internal i had was at midnight when i was 10cm...... "oh your only in early labour love" they kept saying. I WAS TELLING THEM THERE WAS FAR TOO MUCH PAIN TO BE EARLY LABOUR BUT NOOOOOOOOOO I COULDN'T BE RIGHT COULD I

Lizzy to be honest i'm not that angry they didnt check me because my contractions were so random and everywhere and then the baby never descended into my pelvis until the very last minute so everything pointed to early labour. then when she was born with the cord around her neck shoulders and arm which is why she didn't descend until my body practically forced her out the cord was holding everything up.

BUT YOU HAD A BREECH BABY!!! i googled why they are pretty much straight away a c-sec as i didn't understand why everyone panics with them and once i did some research i now understand why they are so incredibly dangerous i decided if i had a breech baby i would have a c-sec and this is coming from someone who is terrified of having a c-section. lol. i can't beleive they just left you to it! how nuts!!! thankgod everything went well and you are both happy and healthy.

The midwife told me I wasn't showing I was in enough pain to be in the latent stages of labour! Stupid woman. Told me my contractions can't be that bad yet I was at 8cm!?

Ugh...OH and I got into a huge fight last night. Left me in tears, took him a good two hours to apologize for being a complete and total jerk. Telling me I have to find a better job, and that he doesnt belive me that im look and applying for jobs b/c Im not getting any interviews..not my fault though is it?

Then when I said I dont have time to sit and hash out a new resemue b/c IM DOING ALL THE HOUSE WORK BY MYSELF! and taking care of Jaxon by myself most the time he got madder at me. THen when I told him Im tired of NOT getting a day off to relax he started yelling about how he does everything, suplamenting my income and yadda yadda. Pissed me off, we nearly broke up!

It seems ages since I managed to get on here last, I have turned into such a slacker but the weather has been so nice we have been out and about a lot. Catching up on facebook has been about as much as I have been able to manage.

I am going to try and have a lot catch up but Georgie is asleep on my lap and due to wake any minute so I doubt I will get far. Have I missed any juicy gossip?

He apologized finally. Told me he didnt want to loose me b/c Im the best thing to happen to him besides Jaxon. So...lets hope things improve.

I started looking at other houses on the internets at work...we found TWO so far that we'll go see. I got my fingers crossed on one of them...though Im certain OH will say "ITS TOO SMALL"

I just went to the Walmart to pick up some formula (only place that sells it), and I got side tracked when I saw a display of "rusks" Having heard of them off this website, I decided to buy them. OH was like "why'd you get these, they have no nutritional value" and I said "well the ladies on BNB are always talking about rusks, I figured why not try them" hehe. Danger....Danger...I also started buying ellas kitchen pouches even though they are expensive....hehe you girls can sure be dangerous...now if only my OH would have let me get that jumparoo last month....
