So tomorrow I go in for a nuchal translucency test. I believe they will tell me the chances of the baby having downs syndrome. I am very nervous, as i have been having tons of cramping over the last week and spotted last week too. I just hope the baby is ok and the test turns out ok. Anyone have experience with the NT test?

I have no idea what will happen but I'm curious as I go for mine (optional, but I chose to have it done) October 13th. Do you go for blood works and ultrasound?

I had my blood work and ultrasound last monday. Unfortunately my midwife turned up yesterday with the results and I'm very high risk and have to go for a cvs test today which scares me. The nt test is fine, just a normal ultrasound, they take measurements from baby, then just a blood test. Most people have normal results, I'm just one of the unlucky ones I guess. In the uk, it takes about a week for the results, don't know about where you are though. Good luck xx

I had my NT scan at 12 weeks 3 days. The scan took about 20 minutes, I was worried about something being wrong as my MS had almost stopped and I had my energy back, but baby was fine and bouncing around the place. My risk for Down/Trisomy worked out to 1/1600 which is low for my age (29).
