October 2018 Bumpkins!

Adorable, Ruskiegirl.

I'm getting anxious to start on the baby's room. It was my DH's office, so I have to wait for him to clear his things out . . . There hasn't been a lot of progress on that yet.

That is absolutely adorable Ruskiegirl!

We are moving tomorrow, so we will finally get started on that room!
Even though tomorrow is a record breaking heat... ugh.

We had our 4D scan yesterday and it was amazing! Looks like her dad and measuring perfect, estimated weight 2lb5 which sounds huge!

We had our 24 week scan baby girl is just barely below average now in the 32nd percentile doctor is not to worried , she was sucking her thumb during the entire ultrasound it was too cute . Been hot and tired lately . I think hubby and I have a name we like alot but are still talking about others . Madison Mae Ruskiewicz , alot of other names we decided we did not really like . I have my gd test in 4 weeks along with another scan

We are smack in the middle of winter over here so freezing our tails off. Hope everyone is doing ok. Nearing the third trimester with the speed of light. It feels like this pregnancy is really going fast.

Did they say what her weight was at 24 weeks? They told me baby is slightly behind too but anyone I ask it seems she's similar weight to other babies

Blah, she is absolutely adorable!
We decided to go with a 3D too, we'll be going August 15 when I'm 32 weeks.

Glad to see everyone is doing good.
We did his room Saturday. Obviously a lot of stuff is missing, but that'll come at the baby shower. We painted, we got the crib, dresser, changing table, mattress. And I washed all of his clothes.

I can't believe how little time is left. Where did the time go?

Anyone else counting kicks yet? Midwife told me that i should start counting, so i downloaded an app and started 2 days ago @26w1d.

So far I've managed to count about 90 kicks each day, spread over 5 sessions per day.
She easily reaches 10 kicks in 10 minutes. Then its a bit quieter, with only a kick here or there (every 2 to 5 mins) for the next 45mins. Then its quiet for about 3 hours, and then it normally starts up again.

Does this sound normal to anyone?

I had the birth options clinic yesterday as I've been really unsure as to whether to go for a VBAC or ELCS. I was sure that I wanted a VBAC to start with but as times gone on I'm not sure that I could go through the same again to end in EMCS. I was 26 hours active labour with DS and only got to 4cms - we both then had a temperature and were very poorly at the time.

So after discussing it with a midwife I think I'm leaning towards ELCS now which means little one will be born at 39 weeks so only another 11.5 weeks for me which is really scary! I've started to write lists of everything that I need to get and I've also started to organise everything by size and what they are so that OH can bring more stuff to hospital if needed. I cant beleive how quickly this is coming around now!

Ruskiegirl: you look amazing!

Bloblo: I never actively counted kicks, but my lo definitely goes through surges of a lot of activity and then it is quieter, followed by nothing for a long stretch. Sounds totally normal to me.

kiki28: :happydance: not too long now. I just told my DH that I was at least only 11 wks away and his eyes about came out of his head. He still thinks we are a year away.

I count mine sometimes , this little lady is really active in the morning and when I go to bed with some jabs in between .

I think alot of us are just busy getting ready for baby I have my gd test and my 28 week scan Aug 2nd . We have decided on Madison for her name but have not really decided on a middle name yet !
How is everyone else hanging ?

So I got admitted to hospital with some kind of virus. Had to stay over for 2 nights and I now have to drink a load of antibiotics to get it cleared up. Luckily baby is doing fine, I just feel like crap. Hope everyobe else is doing good?

I was in the hospital July 4th,5th,6th went in with reduced movement pain and contractions, found out I had a kidney stone which is what put me into preterm labor with my dd thought I avoided them this pregnancy but who am I kidding I get them everytime it was my 12th stone!!! Hopefully all is ok now o got 2 steroid shots and told to just pay close attention to movement and contractions also found out im measuring over 2 weeks ahead which makes me feel a bit better because I feel so huge this time!!! Ouch kidney stones are no fun , and you look beautiful :hugs:

There has been lots of smoke from wildfires in Washington coming to Idaho so I have had headaches and a stuffy nose the last few days. Madison has been very active lately and finally sadly is kicking my ribs now
