October 2018 Bumpkins!

This is baby number two, so I have most everything I need. I do need to get another sound machine and a few odds and ends, but I'm feeling good.

I haven't done any work on the baby's room yet, and that is more concerning to me as I'm already struggling quite a bit with my belly.

I only need to get some burp cloths and a few odds and ends. Everything else is sorted. I've already washed and packed everything, including my hospital bag. Just waiting for baby now. I know I'm super early, but I'm sooooo excited......

We really haven't bought anything yet other than my breastfeeding pillow and a haakaa pump. I have enough nappies and I do have enough clothes from my other kids that I don't *need* anything, but I am going to buy a bunch of plain onesies and vinyl them up.
We will need to buy our carseats and a double pram and a crib to side car to our bed when we return from our big trip at the beginning of August. Otherwise it's really just stuff I'll be making - a tandem baby carrier like a twingo, some tummy time blankets, the onesies, a second wooden toy activity bar, etc. We won't buy a swing or bouncer etc unless we really think it's necessary for sanity. But we try to be quite minimalist when it comes to babies.

I have enough clothes that i got as hand me downs from sister in law. She also gave me a carseat. We will get their crib as well in December once their kid is old enough for toddler bed. But that's all we have.
I have no idea where to even start with shopping and what is needed... At rhe moment we are so unsure about our living situation (we may or may not have finished our house by October, and may or may not have sold our current apartment, and may or may not be renting something else for the short term...) so I think i will wait until September before buying anything more - by then I should know where we will live...

I'm picking up my double buggy next week , I got some girlie bits of clothing as I had all boys, I've ordered my sleepy head to go into my co sleeper as the base of it is abit hard for a new born, i need a new pump at some point. Got to get new bottles.
I've stocked up on nappies and wipes.
25 weeks on Friday and just getting so excited to meet baby girl

I have some clothes for her that I've been picking up while I've been out and about but thats really it at the minute.
I've picked my pram and car seat out so it will just be a case of buying it nearer the time.
I'll just need to pick up the moses basket, feeding stuff and nappies nearer the time too - I went so overboard last time with stuff that we were falling over it and didnt even use most of it so I'm just going to get the essentials this time and pick stuff up as and when we need things!

Our little bub. Doc says everything looks perfect. He is about 586 grams now.

Hey guys not checked in in a while!

We have pretty much the majority of what we need. Have our pram, car seat, bottles and steriliser, swing, crib with bedding, some clothes, stash of nappies and wipes!

Only things we still need is a cocoon for the pram, a changing bag, some more clothes and blankets and towels. Maybe going to get one of those perfect prep machines too.

Can’t believe how fast it is going now - only 14.5 weeks to go until due date! We are going on a little break to a lodge in the Lake District as a family in a couple of weeks so that’ll be great to get a little bit of peace and time to relax. Thinking of buying some maternity clothes also as my jeans are definitely getting a bit tight! I’ve lasted until 25+4 so done well haha x

Our bubs are about the same so, my little lady was 725g at 25 weeks
So nice the hear them putting on weight

Its amazing how quick they put on weight in these last months.

I got a nappy bin and bottles in the sale in mothercare - paid £20 for both when they should have been £66 so happy with that!

Got to have a GTT test as i have family history - not looking forward to that one as I'm struggling with blood pressure as it is and if i dont eat and drink regularly I end up feeling faint so will see how that goes! blood pressue keeps reading at 77/55 which is not good!

I cant believe how fast its flying and that 3rd tri is approaching so quickly!

You look amazing How is the kicking with 2 in there ? My little girl has some really powerfull legs already lol

Her nursery set is here it is so cute !i actually cried after I put it on and looked it at it . It makes it so real now that she is coming soon and I actually get to do a real nursery for her sorry about the not so perfect picture when everything is done i will get good pics with my daughters camera
