October 2018 Bumpkins!

Katie you look amazing. Ruskie sorry about the stuffy nose and headaches. Hope it clears up soon. Baby refuses to move up in my belly so I've been kicked in the bladder since the start. But its ok as lobg as can feel him kicking.

I always seem to get gall bladder problems when preg and end up in hospital luckily I only had an attack on 7th April and have been ok so far but ended up in hospital about 5 times with my last baby.

Would you not get it removed? I had mine taken out after baby 1 and lots of attacks, 1 of which nearly killed me as a stone got stuck and blocked the blood flow to my liver, I was so sick

So apparently my baby has slowed right down she weighted 2lbs 9ozs at 29 week scan, I got to go back august 15 for a repeat, she went from 46 to 23 rd percentile. Her length and head are on cue but her belly is 2 weeks behind meaning she's a lean thing

Katie, you look absolutely amazing and I hope everything will go well :hugs:

Redrose, I hope everything is good for your next echo! I'm also having a growth echo on the 20th of august! Mine is having a lean belly as well and I'm at higher risk for growth stop.

Except for a little trip at the hospital for contractions everything has been good so far. We've been busy doing his room, getting everything ready and moving into our new house. It's been hectic. I can't wait for my mat leave to start. I'm trying to push it as close as possible to my due date since I wanna have the full year with the LO but I also don't wanna stop only a day or two before he comes out! There is so much left to do.

Oh I hear gallbladder problems are the worst and very painful! Hope tget start away and no more attacks!!! I think ive figured out my kidney stone problem is from the amount of tums I eat when pregnant for the horrid heartburn and indigestion I get, my stones are calcium so ive started on zantac hopefully this helps! Is there anything you can do to help prevent your gallbladder problems?

Are they concerned about the slowing?? Hope all is well ay your next scan!

Thank you missie!!! I feel like a cow :haha:
How exciting! You'll have to post pictures when you're done with the bedroom!

I would have had it out but I have been pregnant back to back since 2009 and they can't do it when pregnant.

I've had my GTT test and passed that, 28 week growth scan was good and now shes flipped and no longer breech :) That was getting uncomfortable!

I've had a bit of an arguement with the consultant who wants me to go VBAC and id rather go elective c-section after what happened with my son. I was so angry in the appointment as he hadnt even bothered to read my notes and just said that 'i should try'. I did try last time which resulted in me and DS having very bad complications so I want to avoid that! I'm going back in 4 weeks for another growth scan and appointment so I'm hoping that i can persuade him my way!

Also off to our old house this morning to get the pram etc from DS. I'm hoping all the bits are there otherwise not too sure what I'm going to do!

Had my 28 week scan today. Baby is measuring at least a week ahead on everything. Weight looks like about 1.3kg. Doctor says I have to watch for symptons of pre eclampsia but otherwise everything is looking good. Hope everyone else is doing good.

Had my GD test today and they also took blood to check my iron levels. Now to wait for the results!

I’ve been having BH since around 17w. Get them nearly everyday...don’t think it’s been from being dehydrated as I seem to do nothing but drink water all day.

I passed my glucose test! Any no anemia! I drink lots of water but im getting leg cramps at night. Even on the front side of my leg. Sleeping gets tougher by the week! But little girl has been moving a lot which i love!

I have been having BH since weeks... 24?
I don't think it's dehydration in my case either because I drink WAY too much water haha

Curlymikes, I feel you - sleep has eluded me lately. I think it's gonna be insomnia from now on. If it's not the leg cramps, its the baby doing a number on my ribs or me having to pee!

Ladies! Please try Magnesium supplements. Im taking 100mg daily (with 10mg B6 to activate it). Its cheap and harmless, so well worth a try. I only get leg cramps when i skip a day of magnesium. No need to suffer with restless legs or cramps. :haha:

Magnesium really works for the leg cramps. I have been using it as well. Does anyone else have constant pressure in the pelvic area? I've been having that for the last couple of days. It's not fun.

I may have to try the magnesium as well. Three nights in a row with leg cramps. No fun. It seems as soon as I hit week 27, third tri symptoms started immediately.

30 weeks today - its getting real that in a few weeks that there will be another baby! I think the nesting/organising side is kicking in a little with me at the minute as I'm trying to get as much organised as possible at home/work now.

We have our 2nd chance at our 3D scan Thursday as the tech couldnt get the photos that were needed at the time so looking forward to that!

Thankfully its cooled a lot now as I was really struggling to cope in the heat!
