October 2018 Bumpkins!

Contractions started but they are far apart.
She was worried my uterus didn't grow too much, but then, because of the contractions she checked my cervix. So, she said it made sense it didn't grow much because first baby is 16th percentile and second he is INSANELY low, like slipping out low, lol.

I am not dilated but I am 100% effaced. So we shall see. She said baby would be fine if he came out and they wouldn't even try to stop it but - to slow down a little. And no sex, haha.

We shall see! Now 9th of october seems optimistic haha..

My c section is booked for 9 October but I think at this stage its also a bit optimistic. I've set my new target at trying to get to at least 35 weeks and then I will take it 1 day at a time from there. Hang in there missielibra.

Sending both of you good vibes Missielibra and Star! Let's keep these little ones in a bit longer :hugs:

Oh missy! That's crazy, but she's right he'd be fine, i know it's scary to think tget could come early, but they are perfect little babies and some at 34 or 35 weeks can go home straight away! Good luck honey i'l be praying for yall!

Oh no Missielibra and Star hopefully they cook a little longer :hugs:

I just got back from my 32 week appointment . It is scary news doctor suspects IUGR she is in the 9th percentile. I need NST 2 times a week and I am being sent for a special ultrasound . Doctor wants to try and get me to 39 weeks but we will know more after the ultrasound and the first NST next week . I have a history of small babies but my dr was never concerned so I am very scared right now even thought I know she is in the safe zone if she needs to be delivered soon

Oh no all these misbehaving babies!! Lol in sorry to hear this finger's crossed she's just a little baby and you make it full term!!

wow seems there are lots of babies misbehaving , mine aswell unfortunately. i was scanned to check on the cyst growing on my babys umbilical cord/placenta , and it was good news in that it hadnt got bigger, but i still need to be induced at 37 weeks, they gave me september 17th so just 17 days away!
but then i had my clinic appt after with the mw and my consultant and i was so happy about my scan only to be told sorry we are admitting you because your bloodpressure is super high and you have protein in your urine, and i did at that time have a headache and swelling! so they finally let me go home the next day once it all settled but now weekly scans to check on the cyst and weekly midwife clinic to check on my bloodpressure.. its gonna be a long 2 weeks.. i cant wait til she is here now

i hope everyone is doing ok despite all the troubles, we have all reached a safe zone now. big hugs ladies!

i'm measuring 38 weeks after my midwife yesterday - when I'm only 34. I do think I'm further along than the 34 weeks but as she was a complete surprise and I'd been very unwell with lots of bleeding at the start it has been a bit of a guessing game with the dates etc but I didnt think I'd be measuring 4 weeks ahead!

Scared OH to death last night when I mentioned that midwife didnt think I'd get to the 8th of October - he's really not ready for her to come yet!

My pram arrived yesterday too so I had loads of fun playing with that haha!

Lots of misbehaving babies in this group haha - not just mine :p

We’ve got such an active group already! I can’t belive how many of you look like you might go early. I’m keeping you all in my thoughts, and hoping for strong little ones when they do arrive.

My babe is sideways and I have about a week to get him to turn head down before my mw will attempt a manual flip. The good thing is, I know I’m no where near having him right now :haha:

Hang in there too Star! :hugs: I'm like you, at this point, every week is a milestone. If I look too far, I feel like I'll be too stressed.

Thanks Bloblo! I'm hoping the little one keeps on cooking a little longer...

Oh Katie! :hugs: I feel like I shouldn't even be complaining. I'm already lucky my little one is still in there at almost 35! What a scary time you had to go through! How is the LO?

Oh ruskiegirl :hugs: I'm sorry to hear that. They were scared my baby would be in that situation and it seems my uterus isn't growing anymore. BUT you know, my doctor did say, yes, they'll do extra check up under 10th percentile, but it doesn't mean anything is wrong, we need some babies in the smaller end since we have some in the 95 percentile. So I hope it's just a small baby who's gonna stay in there a few more weeks.

Redrose, I'm so happy to hear your cyst didn't get any bigger. My god, that's less than 3 weeks away! Well, 37 is full term so LO should be doing amazing by then! Can't wait for you to have her in your arms and for the scary time to be over.

Kiki, that is a big baby! But that does mean she is growing, so that is good! Hopefully she's reasonably early so you don't have to push out too big of a baby!

haha I know Tankel. It's like the october babie are having a race of who's gonna come out the soonest. Even though your LO is cooking still with no hints of coming out, I hope he flips soon!

My boys are misbehaving aswell, lol! Plus my body just sucks too. I'm 33 weeks (measuring 39) with twin boys and I'm already dilated 2cm 80% effaced, been having contractions show up on the monitors and my cervix has been shortening since about 27ish weeks or even earlier, i can't remember. so many doctors appointments lol. So I had the steroid shots for their lungs, just waiting for them to come now! My last ultrasound at 31 weeks they were 4lbs 7oz and 4lbs 10oz so they should be ok.

Sorry to hear your babies are misbehaving too mamabear! :hugs:

Hopefully they stay snug in there a little while longer! Although we want to give them as much time as possible in there, the LO would be okay if anything were to happen :hugs:

35 weeks today for me. My weekly milestone at this point! On to 36 hopefully!
I hope all the other misbehaving babies are doing well! Hang in there mamas!

So a few trips to the chiropractor has flipped the baby, and now he/she is officially head down. :happydance:

Hope every one is doing well and all the babies are still cooking!

No news here yet . Yesterday was a holiday in the states . First nst is Thursdsy and waiting to hear about ultrasound . On another note today is my 19 year wedding anniversary :happydance:

Yay for head down Tankel! Now we just need the LO to stay this way! Although, at this point baby should be hopefully too big to attempt any back flips! Haha

Ruskie, keep us posted! I'm keeping my FX for you! And congrats on 19 years wow!

34 weeks for me today. Yesterday I had baaaaaad nesting. Today I'm just super emotional. Baby is still cooking, which is good. Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Heard back about the scan looks like they want a few weeks between so I have to wait until Sept 17th for it . Will update if anything changes after the nst tom:thumbup:

35 weeks and these braxton hicks are killing me - especially at night!

I've also got to chase my midwife today - my local surgery has no appointments left for next weeks appointment so she was going to book me in somewhere else on Monday - but I've not heard a thing all week so getting a bit anxious that I'm going to miss an appointment! I do see the consultant next week but they have been so useless for information its unreal!

HAHA I would love to miss an appointment at this point. I hate when we get to the once a week appointments. It always seems like a waste of time to me.

I'm glad to hear the LO is still in there baking Star :hugs:

Ruskiegirl, I find that this wait is the worse. Regular apts I don't mind but echos... t 32 weeks, baby measured 16th percentile. They said it was fine but then on august 30th, she saw my uterus didn't grow... so if it doesn't grow when I see her next (sept 14th), she's sending me for an echo same day.

Kiki, I feel you. I have some real ones thrown in there and I'm starting to seriously lack in the sleep dept. I hope you managed to get some information and some answers without having to do so much chasing around... When they don't book me and they were supposed to, I become a hound and harass them haha.

Tankel, I know what you mean. My weekly regular apt is like, wait 50 mins to see her 10 mins... to go home. Ugh.
