October 2018 Bumpkins!

:dust: :dust: :dust:
You've got this Katie! Thinking of you and the little one. Keep us updated.

I wrote it in your other thread, but I'm writing it here too.
Thinking of you and the LO Katie.
:hugs: All my prayers are with the two of you and I'm sending all the good vibes and love your way!

Wishing you and LO all the best! Update when you can! I cant wait for our first October baby!

Saw in your other thread that baby was born and doing well. Congrats Katie. He is a beautiful little boy.

I had a scan at 33 weeks and was told there was something on babys placenta/umbilical cord. They just put in my notes cyst?? But didnt tell me anything i got a repeat scan tomorrow. Super nervous about it

I would be asking them about it! :/
It's not really nice of them to not inform you of anything...
I know someone who during their pregnancy, they found a mass, didn't tell her and then called for a referral in her face about a possible cancer mass... without having told her prior to the call...

Sometimes, doctors and whatnot baffle me.

Try not to stress too much mama, and let us know! Hopefully tomorrow comes quickly!

Just to say my little girl was born on Monday at 33+6. My waters broke on the Saturday night and they found out I had group b strep. She has infection and not interested in feeding so is tube fed for now, but everyday she is making progress. Will be w longer road for us in neonatal but we will get there.

Ohmygod Blah! I'm happy to hear you're both okay for now, but I'm sorry to hear your LO has an infection and everything :( I'm sure she's a fighter! I'll be sending the both of you prayers and love and I'm glad to hear though that she came out okay despite the early birth! We seem to have quite a few LO in a hurry in this october group! Keep us updated mama! I'm thinking about you and your LO! :hugs:

Congrats Blah I will keep her in my thoughts hopefully she gets better soon ! :hugs:

As for me my after me blood sugars are still out of control , I meet with the diabetes specialist tommorow sounding more and more like I might need insulin . I have lost weight as well but baby girl is still as active as ever. I have my 32 week scan next Thursday really hoping she is at average or a little above this time

Congratulations and lots of prayers going out to Katie and Blah for your early babies. Hoping for healthy babies that get to go home soon.

Congrats on your LO Blah. Hope that she will be going home soon. Keeping you in my prayers.

Congratulations Katie and Blah - hope everything goes ok for you both.

I think I'm going to go out this weekend and get everything for my hospital bag this weekend and also order the pram and carseat. I'm a little bit anxious to get it all sorted this time round for some reason!

I also need to get a bag packed for DS as he will be staying away for a few nights while I'm in hospital.

I do finally have nappies, clothes, moses basket and a changing table all brought now so its just the last few bits and I'm done!

Blah congratulations on your little girl!

It's bad news for me unfortunately, the cyst has grown bigger and it attached to the umbilical cord and is just where it attaches to the placenta , it's not affecting her growth for now but they are worried as it's 6cm now and continues to grow so I'm being scanned weekly and told they could take her anyway week now, the specialist wants to try get me to 37 weeks but won't be letting me go past 38 weeks max, but likely is in 3 weeks I will be meeting my little girl!

Oh no RedRose that is really scary , keeping you and her in my thoughts hopefully she can stay in until 37 weeks !

I know how you feel kiki I already have her bag packed but need to pick up a few things for mine otherwise everything has been bought months ago hehe

As for me met with the diabetes specialist today , I have one week to try 45 carb lunch and dinners to get my sugars under control . I was at 30 carbs for breakfast and 45 to 60 for lunch and dinner . We already dropped breakfast to 15 and it put my after breakfast levels in range . If doing 45 carbs works I am set for now otherwise I have to take metformin or insulin !

Congratulations Blah! I will think of you - sending you a lot of strength for the few difficult weeks ahead, but keep hope that it will all be great in the long run.

Kiki - i still have basically nothing apart from what was gifted to us from my SIL who has a 2 year old.

RedRose - thinking of you and the little one. May she hold on a little longer before birth :dust:

Ruskiegirl - I am on roughly 75 carbs a day (i get about 25 - 30g just from salads, spinach, zucchini, etc. Then I eat 2 slices of rye bread throughout the day, and if im missing any carbs I eat a handful of berries). I haven't had a reading above 80 (4.4) fasting or above 110 (6.1) 1hr after any meal since I started it. I am enjoying having bacon instead of cereal... Don't think I will want to up my carbs ever again, hopefully i won't have milk supply issues...

Congrats katie and blah!

Redrose that sounds scarey! Glad they are watching you closely!

It must be frusterating sometimes to keep your sugar levels under control! Not too much time left though!

I have another scan monday! Always exciting to see her!

Just over one more month to go and time is going to fly by for me. I have my baby shower coming up and a beach vacay in the works.

Now if I could just get some progress done on the nursey

Went in for a growth scan today. My giant baby is still giant. She is still measuring 3 weeks ahead and at the 96%. Weighs 5lbs14oz which is what my daughter (a twin) weighed when she was born at 36 weeks. I am 33 weeks. Good news is everything looks perfect.

I'm all organised now - everything is brought I'm just waiting on the carseat and pram to be delivered this week. I feel so much happier and relaxed now so if anything was to happen earlier everything is prepared.

I'm not sure why I feel like shes going to be early - I'm not wishing her out or anything and I'd happily stay pregnant for another few months as its not been a struggle this time but being prepared has made me feel loads better!

Had a check up today. Baby is still doing fine and right on target with growth. Funny thing is that the machine they had me on picked up contractions. I do have sone period paibs but I'm not feeling the contractions. It's weird. Doc started me on steroids and put me on bedrest because both my previous pregnancies were prem births. Hope everyone is doing well. Not so long to go now.
