Sorry to hear your baby has a rash. :(

I think I'm lucky with my babies sleep as well. For the first month, she never ever slept during the night, only slept all day. Now for about a month and a half, she's been sleeping through the night. I think it's because she sleeps in bed with me. When she ever does wake for a feed, I just had her a boob and we both fall right back to sleep.

Some nights it might take a little longer to get her to sleep, but once she goes to sleep, she's good for the rest of the night.

I give her a bottle at 7:00, take a bath at 7:30, and we go to bed at 8:00, and wake up at 4:00 A.M. so that I can get myself and her ready for the baby sitter and me for work at 6:00 a.m. Sooo she pretty much sleeps 8 hours, only kicking me once around midnight to get a boobie.

Lildreamy are you back at work already, do you mind me asking..how are you finding it?
I rematriculated today and start back on clinical placement at the end of next month (nursing rostered service) but since I've technically come off mat leave at uni I was hoping to ease myself into it with a night shift or two a week in January on the nurse bank to pay for our summer holiday.

Wow Jules, that's awesome how long Rose is sleeping! I would be thrilled if Alora did that!!!!

Sophia had a great night last night, slept 8.40pm til 4am, then 4.50am-8.10am!! :happydance: Also Bella wasn't sick in the night this time so she was well enough for the pantomine today! Was her first time, we went to see Snow White and it was really good. She was so excited bless her (she's 3!) and wore her Snow White fancy dress outfit! :haha: My OH did great at home with Sophia too, great practice for him as he was rubbish at having Bella for a few hrs when she was this age.

Sorry to hear your LO has a rash Juless, hope it clears up soon.

xxx

Maybe try nothing on Rose for a while Jules?
We still only use water in Tristans bath, we only wash his hair when he has been sicky!

Yay for a better night BeanieBaby! :happydance:

Tristan seems loads better now :D

Ya, maybe we'll just use water for a while. I used some Burt's Bees lotion on her though and it seems to be getting better. I have excema and sensitive skin so maybe she inherited it from me unfortunately..

A moment I guess!
I feel so yack about myself, I feel insecure and I'm just being a nob!
I said Hubby was cheating on me even though I know he never would, luckily he knows its my hormones talking and reassured me.
He's going out tonight and I'm dreading it.
I just wish I could snap out of these feelings! :(

BB - :hugs: These crazy hormones can definitely get the better of us sometimes. :( Hang in there, it will get better. Being sleep deprived doesn't help matters either.
xx

Well I had a right good cry and Hubby reassured me about everything.
He came home from work, we went food shopping, had a take away and watched some TV then bathed Tristan together. He's now gone out and I actually feel ok!
I'm just having some BnB time and then it's off to bed for me!

I'm sat with 36 mince pies which are Hubbys favourite and I threatened to eat them all

Glad you're feeling a bit better. :)
It's hard sometimes, being a Mommy. I wouldn't trade my girls for anything, but I have my good days and bad. Sometimes I feel like I'm supermom and I can handle anything. And some days I just want to crawl into bed and stay there.
Like I said, I wouldn't change a thing... but we can't help how we feel sometimes, especially when our babies are having a rough day, or we don't get much sleep.

xx

I second MKC's last post BB, so true!

So sorry you were feeling down today. :hugs: Really pleased your OH was able to reassure you and you're finishing the day off on a better note. Really hope you have a lovely weekend together and he's not too hungover to enjoy it! :haha:

Aww hope you feel better soon BB

Chloe is being so good she is started going from about 10pm to 6am every day, it so nice to have such long sleep, tbh i would pretty much clast that as sleeping throught :D
Im looking forward to her 1st christmas so much. Chloe is just started to get really intrested in toys now so christmas is gonna be really good. And also in the morning when she gets up at 8am she doesnt really sleep until about 12pm so she should be up with all her pressies :D

I'm so excited for Christmas too!!! I'm excited since it's Alora's first Christmas but I'm especially excited for my 2 year old this year. :D

Trumpetbum - Luca is SO ADORABLE!! :D Thanks for sharing the pics!
Rosalina went to her first Christmas present of the season! She was great and everyone loved her of course! hehe! The craziest thing was seeing my cousin's 8 month old baby and realizing that Rose was almost as big as her!! :o I weighed Rose and she is nearly 14 pounds now!!
She is still sleeping through the night which is WONDERFUL but I'm dreading next week. We're doing a lot of travelling and I have a feeling her schedule will be all mixed up.
