i dont htink my life could get much worse atm. i just come back from a&e i feel over chloe's stair gate my wrist looks broken but thye say it isnt me, my sister and her OH aint convinced though, i aint got any feeling in my fingers when dh gets home from work i gonna ask him, as he a 1st aider and if he thinks they wrong will go back tomorrow is still no feeling in fingers.

Hmmm it's hard to say for sure. I've broke my foot before, and sprained it a different time. And it looked almost just as bad both times (and just as painful). And my foot actually went completely purple and around the bone/sprain swelled up the size of a golfball.

It definitely looks injured, but the only way to tell about a break is an x-ray since sprains, etc can look just as bad.

Yes well i got x-ray and the person who did x-ray took 5mins looking and thought he saw something nurse took 5seconds before dismissing it and sayign was a sprain, but she didnt even treat it properly as a sprain according to my DH who is a firstaider/medic

Hmmm it's really frustrating when you don't get the care you need.

Even with a sprain, I still had to be on crutches and wrap my foot. You should at least have been given a sling and something to wrap it with, to keep it from moving too much???

i saw an off duty paramedic on way to a&e and he said it looked broken

I went back yesterday as fingers were loosing feeling, waiting 3hours doc spent 10mins looking at old xray and found a tiny crack in middle of bone, so im now in a splint kinda glad i got one of them and not a cast though

My 8 mth old has had a cough for 4 mths now. I've taken him to see 3 doctors and the ED twice. Both times they have said his healthy go away. His been on prednisolone twice which did NOTHING!!! he coughs mostly at night (till he vomits) but still the random cough during the day! The doctor said there was no need to see specialist Grrrr HELP

Glad you've got your wrist sorted mummytochloe.

I also agreeif Cooper's had a cough that long then go to a different doctor (again!) You can nnever be too caucious with children

How is everyone doing? Its been awful quiet in here lately...

My LO is now mobile, and getting around so fast. He's also pulling himself up on anything he can find (couch, bathtub, etc.) At 9 1/2 months he is 24 pounds and 30". Its amazing how fast they grow!

And you're right, its very quiet here. Hardly anyone posts anymore.

MY LO isn't really mobile in the sense she doesn't crawl or walk, but she rolls everywhere. And she's very interactive and an overall happy baby. She is probably around 20lbs now, give or take (haven't weighed her recently). I cannot believe how fast they are growing, we're getting closer and closer to the 1-year mark!

Lewis isnt really mobile either as such he loves standing up things couch cot etc but is still a bit wobbly but he is getting on all 4's and rocking so im guessing crawling isnt too far off once he figures outhe has to move his legs and arms lol he only started sitting up properly at 8 months he could do it before then but hated it so would throw hiself back all the time but now he loves it



Its mad to think they will be 1 in just over 3 months !! What are you ladies planning for birthdays then ? lewis has got a biiiiig family so im guessing we will spend the day taking him to visit and then (if hes more mobile) take him to the wacky warehouse to have a play in the under 5's ive recently bought him a ball pit and he LOVES it so think hed like it .

Chloe is really mobile now, gets into everything, and cruises along our furnitre and walks unaided without mummy or daddy if she has her baby walker
I cant beleive she is 1 3months tomorrow i really dont want her to turn 1 she wont be my baby then, she will be a toddler We are planning a big birthday party for her though, it will be the weekend before or after her actual birthday due to me being at uni and dh working and famiyl working ect.

We don't have any plans for his birthday. Will probably have a cook-out or something. Nothing too big.

Nathanael loves to spend his days outside playing in the dirt, or splashing in any water. He crawls over to the dog bowl and splashes it all over and then dumps it. I'm quite tired of cleaning up water At least it keeps him occupied and happy. His brother and he were having a splashing contest in the tub yesterday and they were laughing up a storm. Too cute!

Yeah my baby is one of the later babies (Nov 5) and I'm not sure what we're doing for her birthday yet, but probably nothing too big. Just family and maybe a few close friends, and get a nice big cake that she can make a mess of.

Hey girls, just popped into say Hi, I am always busy with LO or decorating so havent had the chance to get on here and have a yak. My end find, Macy is the easiest baby I could ask for, she started crawling at 8 months, getting faster by the day, loves her food, had her development check last week she weights 18lb6, doing fine!! She is so funny trying to dance to the Hotdog song on Disney Junior, says a few words and loves giving me lovely sloppy kisses. I am soooo broody its so not gonna happen as DH had the snip a few months ago, but hey I have 3 children, I cant keep on lol!!! xx

Sorry I've been missing, my laptop was in for repair, needed a new mother board!

Tristan is doing really well, he sits unaided no problem now, he can stand up hodling on to things and started rocking on all fours this morning!! He is such a happy smiley baby
