oh i had to see it done with thomas.he had bad episodes of turning blue and not being able to breath .thought it was his reflux but it was horrible.took him down in cot.i took him into theatre and watched as they put a mask on and he went floppy.horrible experience seeing him trying to fight it.turned out he had a floppy larynx.im guessing a ct scan is worse than a xray with the exposure??

My mum told me when I was younger I didnt speak. I could understand what was going on, and what was being said to me but I wouldnt talk. If I wanted something, I would point at it and grunt. My brother and Iwould talk in a babbling language that no one else could understand. By the time I turned 3 I started to speak in full sentences, not just a word here and there. Everyone realised that I could talk all that time, just didnt want to. Apparently I havent shut up since.

My son is 4 and has just really started talking this year. He just didnt talk, then all of the sudden he was using full sentences and now we cant get him to shut up! Lol! He had maybe a 3 to 4 word vocabulary that he would speak and did that rarely. I had concern about it but the DR said that when he was ready he would do it. Turns out he was just taking everything in so that he could open a flood gate all at once!

I really hope everything turns out good for you Andrea! You are in my thoughts!

Thanks everyone really really appreciate it and I'm sure he'll talk when hes ready the doc also said that today which helped me feel a little better. He did say it could be the skull thing which does worry me a little but he said it wasn't so bad to the point a surgeon would even touch him for it. Its too risky the doctor thinks so I will take his advice as he knew exactly what I was talking about when I told him the condition. I cant think of the word without looking it up in the book LOL

I am thinking about not getting blood work until the day after AF is due.....I havent had a cycle over 25 days so I'd say by Monday the 8th I'll be calling the doctor if no AF shows FX everyone

Your right about the soy as I've already bought it...this time I did black cohosh...I really feel like shes coming but if so shes gonna be early as shes not due until the 5th.....but man I am hurting like crazy and my cervix is beginning to open up a little....I'm figuring shes definitely going to be showing up here tomorrow sometime as I feel horrible...but weird thing is my hips and pelvic area normally hurt and they dont but still the cervix beginning to open is a sign shes definitely going to show up this time around

I know but man I don't think implantation cramps would hurt nearly this bad my tummy is tightening and it is really kinda crampy....but normally my pelvic area does hurt and its not...but I'm beginning going through my "AF cleaning frenzy" everytime I get AF I clean crazy then AF shows and tonight I've been up cleaning the house thoroughly....I duno why but I've always done that I get BITC** and in a cleaning mood and DH hates it LOL....but I duno maybe I'm going insane

Well there have been several occasional, some even on this site where woman SWEAR up and down that AF is coming and they still end up getting that BFP!

Andrea so glad that your doc is listening to you and is taking steps to get your son seen to by a specialist and that there is a plan to help him.

The other thing about your son's speech - I never spoke because I have an older brother and he did all my talking for me, I never had to say a thing... I didn't really start talking "properly" till I was close to 3!

As for your AF cramps / implantation pain - I swore I was getting AF, but got my BFP and have had terrible pulling and tugging in my tummy (nothing like anything I have had before) for the last 4 or 5 days. I have also had red spotting, but BFP is still there and things are still looking good (AF due tomorrow)...

FX'd your lines get darker...

Thanks sweetie I took a test tonight and the line is still there just very faint as its been.....maybe my HCG is just slow...but what worries me is the cervix opening more

Your charts looking good looks like a implantation dip on 9dpo im thinking you'll get a nice dark bfp in next few days if not today it's really common for you to feel AF is on the way even with people who get very clear bfp.
I think your tests are showing a little darker every day which is a good thing, you are only 11dpo though and some people dont get a clear bfp till after 15dpo.
When i had IB last pregnancy at 8 dpo i didnt get a clear positive till 7 days later.

Wow thanks hunny.....I just felt like I was totally out....today I feel a lot better no cramping and my cervix closed completely back up and its harder now I just slept way past my alarm clock WOOOOOOOOOOOOPSY....sooo I did a FRER today bfn but I know I'm not out....I'm just hanging onto hope that I REALLY MAYBE PREGGER lol...but I dont count on it.....
