+ opk and taking norethisterone

Hi all,
Im on day 4 of a 10 day course of norethisterone to start my af. Have just done an opk (dont know why i did really!) and it's positive!!!
Anyone had this happen? Is it just the hormones? Or am i going to ovulate? I'm soooooo confused!!

I'm not 100% certain but I think norethisterone works as a bcp by affecting your womb lining. It could be possible then that you still ovulate but that it is stopped from implanting? Sorry I can't offer anything more definite....

Everything ive found on google says that it doesnt cause you to ov? I dont know! I've read that progesterone after ov is good but not before as it would prevent ovulation. Obv not the case here! hee hee

I'm on 3rd day of Norethisterone, and I got positive OPK
It'll probably won't implant anyway huh?

I had a scan on Monday, and was told there were no sign of ovulation.
I wonder if they got it wrong, or if this is false positive OPK
