Look, all they need is popcorn:

Lellow, they most certainly do not look like they are enjoying watching.

Exactly, why are they watching??? Why anyone would ever want to see that is beyond me.

I think its fairly routine for high up people to watch missions in realtime. They need to make sure everything goes off well and nothing can come back and bite them in the ass.

I would imagine that they are watching because Obama has sanctioned it happening and as such is watching to see the consequences of his actions. He sent in US troops who may have been killed carrying out his orders. I think it is a damned if you do type situation. Had he not watched then people would have said that he should have seen exactly what he sanctioned, especially should anyone else have died.

For me I think that it is fine he watched but there is no need for the world at large to see it too. I am not sure what would be achieved by releasing footage or photos of the events.

I think I'd take their word for it rather than watching someone be killed

Maybe you would but these are military leaders and politicians. also were they told to kill him straight out? If they had planned to capture him then they wouldn't have been watching anyone get killed.

He resisted, they shot rockets at the Americans and they defended themselves exactly the way they are supposed too.

But them watching makes zero difference in my opinion.
What would them viewing the killing change in reality, what could they, sat there in that room do once events had happened to change them?!
NOTHING!

Its all just seems very voyeuristic and a little bit

Totally agree!

I guess then you better stop watching films where people get killed. Or the news.

I honestly don't understand the issue with them watching.

It's probably standard practise for a mission like that and with it being black ops and everything after a secret the less report and paper trail the better.

Imo if they sanction a mission then damn right they should follow through and watch the consequences

We'll just agree to disagree :)
