Our Crazy General Rambling Chat Thread(Men in Leotards Welcome!)

I was gonna say this in that other thread but I LOVE your cheekbones. You have such defined pretty cheekbones. Your very pretty! Is your hair naturally curly?

I'm gonna post some of DH and I over the years in a second.

Gosh... aren't you nice.

Yes, my hair is naturally curly. I would have thought LO would have ended up with it but not so far- though she does have red hair- but it's a strawberry blonde red, not an deep red/auburn... genetics:shrug:

Oh oh oh.. post some pics.. I want to see...

And yes, Bill the Science guy!!! Science nerds unite!

Okay, here is Dh and I the early years. :haha: This was May 2002. We had been together 5 months here and it's DH's senior prom(I was 15, he's 18)

Fast forward 5 years to summer of 2007. I'm 20, he's 23.

Us comparing our giant bellies towards the end of my pregnancy. I think I had Emma the week after this was taken. Early August 2009. Dh gained nearly as much as I did with the pregnancy. :haha: I'm 22 here and DH is 25.

And I really don't have many of DH and I in recent days. So here is me and captain jack sparrow, my second husband. From the weekend. I'm now 25. :D

And might I add, 2007 was a very good year for me looks-wise. I don't think I'll ever be that thin again. I'm trying but I'm still a good 20-25 lbs heavier.

What nice pics.. you guys were so young in the first pic! You're pretty hawt yourself.. and your baby is sooooo cute!

I'm with ya..

I am struggling.. i think it is my age.. I am 35.. and I was 34 or 35 in all those pics too btw...but yeah, I don't think I will EVER be super skinny again, but I will just be content with "shapely" at this point.

How long did it take you to get off that baby weight? I am trying to give myself a break. I have literally lost NO baby weight.

I seriously didn't lose a thing after having her. Not even the 7 lbs 14 oz I should've lost from her. I gained 45 lbs while pregnant with her and 20 lbs while pregnant the first time(mc) both back to back so I was 65 lbs heavier by the time I had Emma. I think I was a bit in denial because I didn't even try to lose the weight until after her first birthday. I saw the pictures of myself and was shocked. I was still wearing maternity jeans too. So in November 2010 I decided to start doing something about it. It has taken me since than to lose 52 lbs. So nearly back down to my pre-miscarriage weight finally. Myfitnesspal is what helped. I was eating far too many sodium packed foods. And I started exercising every day. Recumbent bike, elliptical and walking 30-60 minutes a day. I went from 240 lbs down to 188 lbs right now. (my goal is 170 but I'm 5'8" so fairly tall and I'm not a tiny girl bone wise either) I'm finally not wearing maternity jeans anymore although I'm not even close to my pre-pregnancy jean size. I'm not sure I ever will be.

Your LO is still very young. I didn't even give thought to losing weight when Emma was that young. I was too busy cluster feeding her at that point. :haha:

Ooo Just found one with DH, Emma, and I at disneyland. This was a little over a month ago. DH is wearing a shirt that says 'papa woody erection company' The guy taking our picture with minnie later in that day made minnie cover up DH's shirt with her big ears when standing next to DH. I don't think the photographer approved. :haha:

Yep... same boat.. in every way. I am also 5'8 and weigh around what you did. If I was your age I would go for 170 but shit.. I'd go for 180 to 200... I would be okay with that.

I know I have bigger things to worry about but I am .... vain.

I think we are all vain in one way or another. :D I would be pleased as punch to get to 180 really. That was my original goal. My biggest upset is that my jeans size doesn't seem to be dropping.(I'm a size 16:() I have really big hips but I think they must've spread a lot from the pregnancy and aren't going back. In my 2007 pictures that I just posted, I was a size 8! And I had a c-section so I know the actual birth had nothing to do with the hips spreading. Being a woman sucks sometimes. DH can eat what he wants for the most part and he stays thin. I eat a burger and gain 5 lbs. :dohh:

 Same here. I can literally drink protein shakes and guzzle down water for a week and lose 5 pounds and then can eat bad for a day or two and gain evey single bit back.

I also have zumba fit here but I am just getting to the point that Corrine will let me do housework, don't know how I am going to fit in exercise.

Here is me and DH after we got married, heading off to our honeymoon in the trailer.

I do have to say that a wedding veil comes in handy for hiding flaws like big arms and extra chins.. wish I could wear one every day! ;)

Everyone looks so pretty... that wedding photo is just lovely!

Ugh! I hate typing out posts and BnB stops working. :dohh: I do the same thing every night it seems like bc BnB shuts down the same time each night for a few minutes. Does that happen for anyone else?

Anyways, lisaf- I love your wedding picture!! You look so beautiful! I swear I had the worst photographer at mine and every picture is crap. :dohh: I spy dimples on you!! So pretty! I'm trying to decide who your LO looks like more and I can't really decide. A good mixture of both I think! Also, I'm very jealous of your nose piercing! I've wanted to get mine done for years but DH keeps telling me NO. :(

I am glad it isn;t just me that it dies on every night....

I think her baby looks like her.She should post the pic she had on her avatar before this one of Daniel. I think he looks like her.

Ok, I'm glad it's not just my computer screwing up with BnB either! SO annoying and somehow I always manage to catch the 'dead' time at the most inconvenient moments. :dohh:
