Q1. Does anyone have an Ovatel ovulation microscope? Any tips on where I'm going wrong - I cant see a thing!? :headspin: The hole is so small and I've tried to get it to focus but nothing! It was a cheap item I bought ages ago for when we decided to TTC.

Q2. I am on CD25 on my first month TTC so I dont honestly know my cycle length yet - I'm assuming 28 this month as I always had regular periods when not taking BCP. I had serious O pains on CD14/15 and have BD'd every/every other day since CD10.
I dont feel any different at all other than one spell of nausea but that could have been through lack of sleep/not eating well.
I have a Boots own test and 2 CB digitals. I dont know how sensitive the Boots test is - I doesnt mention early testing.
When do you think I should test? Your views appreciated!
TIA!

Since you don't know your cycle length, you might want to just wait it out until CD 28 if AF doesn't come before that. You can also get early prediction htps, and take one sooner but I would recommend waiting to see what AF does and what kinda of symptoms you get. This is good either way because if your symptoms are AF pains then you know what to look out for next cycle. :) best of luck to you!!!

I agree hun, as its your first month, just wait until 28 days, then if AF hasn't showed up take a test.

Cant help you with the 1st question sorry!

good luck
xx

I don't have an ovatel one, but I do have a maybe baby scope - I bought at a pharmacy here where I live. do you have a light button to illuminate the results? If so are you pressing it? I'm not sure what else it could be, if you've put the saliva on properly - it could just be a faulty cheapy sweetie

Besides, TBH the maybe baby scope isn't that great. I get false ferns all the time, even my DH has gotten ferns once when I started doubting its reliability. So don't get too disheartened if you can't use it.

Thanks Sweetie - TBH it was cheap as chips and its not got a light on it and very basic instructions. Nevermind. I've got plenty of other things to be checking without it!

If you're not strapped for cash and can afford an extra couple HPTs if necessary, then you might as well take a test now. Just keep in mind that a negative test doesn't necessarily mean you're not pregnant. You could just be testing too early.
However, that's what I'd do...and some people would strongly disagree because they find negative tests totally and completely demoralizing. You have to decide if you'll feel crushing sadness by a negative test, or whether you can be of the mindset that it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

i feel the same way that capitalchick...go ahead test who's know and if you get a bfn you can always try again...what is suppose to happen will happen anyway i's just a matter of time and days ...if you get a bfn will we be here for you ...to tell you you can try again :)in couples of days
good luck !
