overweight and ttc

poor you comet :(

i have no idea  i am slowly getting better though

Definitely ttc as of next cycle, I asked hubby if he was sure he was ok with it and he was just worried about me being in turkey too far past the halfway mark if something was to go wrong  but he's happy to go for it as of next cycle, so just need af to hurry up and make a move :happydance:

emmy: glad London was good :), Manchester's trafford centre is incredible only been once but it was like something out of the movies to me. We don't have much around here just beautiful scenery! When is af due?

magic : oh dear! Does food poisoning affect the baby?

xx

Finding this cervical mucus lark baffling! Hard to 'classify' it! Today I have a bit watery and also (tmi!) like actual solid strings of white stuff, like skin or something, and also a little bit sticky. Argh.

only if you don't hydrate apparently

but once i stopped throwing up i kept drinking

comet I'm not entirely sure to be honest. I think I ovulated about a week ago, so af could be anytime over the next week.

oswin I have no clue about cm, it totally confuses me too :dohh:

Emmy: glad London was good, I love Manchester's Trafford centre, it was like something out of a film for me, we only have beaches and scenery by me haha.

Magic: oh right, well glad your on the mend! Not long now till your scan!

Oswin: here is a cm picture website that will show you , not for the faint hearted though! Helped me loads. https://www.babycenter.com/101_what-cervical-mucus-looks-like-through-your-cycle_10351429.bc

a week until i go to my parents
a week and 2 days until my scan! :happydance:

Hello ladies...

Magic...that's exciting...do you have any gut feelings on what gender it might be? I have heard women say they feel like they know what the gender will be...

Comet...I can't believe no AF yet...any updates on hubby SA yet? Did you get that progesterone cream?

Emmy...that is exciting! Im glad London was good!

Had a fun day today...out riding 4 wheelers and dune buggies with my 4 year old nephew...it was so stinking cold today :cold:BUT I couldn't say no to that cute lil guy...he had so much fun...we came in the house and our hands were cold and I said to my nephew 'uncle likes it when you put your cold hands on him' and we started putting our hands on my hubby and he started dancing around and the lil dude thought it was so funny he couldn't stop laughing...it was cute:haha:

I want a lil one to do stuffs with...it's so hard whenever I am with kids people are telling me what a good mom I would be and asking when we are going to have kids....I know people mean well but it makes me sad at the same time...well maybe this cycle...I should ovulate this week...

Magic: ahhhh! Exciting!!

Alex: hello! Good luck with this cycle hopefully it will be your lucky one and you can then start planning fun days with your own little one :).
I have orderd some cream hopefully it should be here this week! Hubbys sa is tommorown praying the last batch was just bad. Could do with some good news to cheer me up, but even if it isn't I guess it means my doctor will FINALLY refer me. Been a long time coming ...

Hi ladies!

I hope you don’t mind me joining in with you all!

My name is Hannah and my OH and I have been TTC for 18months now.

I too have PCOS and last week I was informed I have another dermoid cyst on my right ovary which will need removing. Deep joy!

Its comforting to find a thread with other ladies in similar situations as myself. I have a BMI of 34. The Drs are always harping on at me about losing weight and although I am actively trying it is still so difficult!
How are all you ladies getting on?

I’m hoping once the cyst is removed the DRs will consider putting me onto Clomid to help ovulation and conception! FX for all of us xxxx

Comet, really hope your hubby's sa goes well tomorrow :hugs:

Alex, keeping absolutely everything crossed for you for ovulation :dust:

Hannah, really hope it's not long before they can remove the cyst for you :hugs: It must be so frustrating to have people going on at you about losing weight :nope:

Big news here :happydance: af has started :yipee:

So we're now officially ttc :D

yay emmy
hello mrshscott
comet i hope his test goes well and here is to hoping they send you to a specialist!

i think i am having a boy - all because of the placenta theory
matt thinks it is a boy because there is more boys in his side than girls
odv neither of us mind but we both want to be right

Hello Hannah lovely to have you on our little thread :)

YAY EMMY how exciting, really hope it happens first month for you :)

Magic oooo a boy that would be lovely :) xx

hannah: hello! i too have pcos and get told to lose weight all the time. How big is your cyst if you dont mind me asking? I have a 7 and 9cm cysts one on each ovary and have not been told to remove them, though i do worry what will happen if i dont.
are you on metformin?
Good luck on your journey! hope you stick around here :)

emmy: yay for af!!!! wonderful news that its your first cycle back :) hope its a short journey

magic: is that the theory of the placenta being behind or in front of baby? Im gonna guess a girl :p

xx

apparently if the placenta is on the right hand side it is a girl
left hand side it is a boy

so hubby's SA went okay today, should get the results Thursday.
still no af but that's nothing new haha!
