Hi!

My.lil man in 2 in December and I'm also due 2 weeks later, im thinking of having a little tea party for his birthday at home do you have any inspiration for games?!

Thanks

Lynn

Copying games work well here, like Simon Says, but without the complication of saying 'Simon says!'. I just do different actions for them to copy. You could do races where they have to pretend to be different animals - frogs, snakes, caterpillars etc.

Musical statues is always a winner!

Any singing with actions is good. Grand Old Duke of York, the Hokey Kokey, Incy Wincy Spider, Wind the Bobbin etc.

It's not a game, but a nice little craft. If you use some sticky backed plastic and fix it sticky side up to a table, or even better, glass doors, the children can make easy collages by sticky ripped up bits of tissue paper and sequins on. You can then cover with more sticky plastic to seal it up, and hang them by a window.

Hope you have a lovely party!
