PCOS Buddies (10 BFP)

I loved my sonoline b too! Baby always reminded me of riding a train. It's a distinct sound. <3

Another vote for sonolineB, I picked mine up on amazing for about £40-50 I think. Was so long as go now though, it's had its money worth because at least 4 friends have borrowed it since I had Winter.

5dpo and time is moving soooo slowly! I have 11 days off work now so that's even more time to obsess over everything x

How are all those who are TTC?

I'm CD 19 and FF is saying that my temp fluctuations are within a good range, first time since I started chatting. Maybe thanks to Metformin?

Some ppl say it's not good for the baby, what you ladies think?

I heard that too but honestly nothing solid ever popped up. So I used it a few times a week and ds turned out okay.

I used it daily from 9 weeks until dds movements became regular and no harm done. A lot of the info out there saying more frequent ultrasounds cause miscarriages and dopplers and such is because the reasons those women had more ultrasounds is because they were at an increased risk to start. So personally I don't believe the ultrasounds or dopplers caused an issue. That's not to say that daily ultrasounds are okay, but you get the idea.

After asking a doctor there is no danger, doctors advise against it because if you dont find a heartbeat you can become very stressed obviously, and for no reason because these babies have lots of room to hide. Still finding a nice strong 150+ heartbeat all week, 8 weeks as of today :) and sorry I just saw your question, Im in Quebec, family in Ontario.

Yay for 8 weeks!! cant wait to be 8 weeks someday hehe. Im def gonna order one once i pass the 6 weeks point. I wanna get a private scan incase my new gyno doesnt wanna do it. Do you know if private scan is available in Canada?

I used a doppler with DD and had no issues. X

Good news - my GP is referring me to a gynaecologist :happydance: Should be 6-8 weeks. They don't prescribe anything at this level and apparently my PCOS is mild.

im not sure.. I looked into it but where I am I couldnt find the option :/ I got an early scan because I met with my doctor and really let out all my concerns, and also told her I didnt know exactly how far along I am (which i did lol) so she ordered the scan for dating and reassurance.

If my fertility consultant doesn't offer me an early scan when I next get pregnant I'm deffo acting like I don't know my dates to get one sooner lol. I hope it won't come to that as I've had 4 losses nowith hopefully they would offer one for reassurance.

I'm 7dpo today and absolutely dying to test! Not having any signs or symptoms to indicate bfp but I didn't with Winter until after I was late x

I will probably paying for reassurance scan privately if needed if there is a next time. I would think fertility treatment +/- any losses grants a reassurance scan? Not sure. Everywhere is different.

Fx'd for you Taz! When are you testing? I had no symptoms with DD until I was 6 weeks X

Im gonna try that too but i called the gyno's office today, she said they havent received the referral yet. I guess they are using paper mailing lol i asked when will i get an appointment, she said depends on ur situation gyno will decide when to see you.

I havent even had my first appointment yet.. Here they dont see people till 8 weeks.. Mine is on wednesday. I went through my family doctors walk in clinic.. havent met anyone who will follow this pregnancy yet.

How did u get a scan then?

by going to my family doctors walk in clinic.. because of my complete lack of symptoms and one episode of one brown spot after urinating (which i found out is caused by my progesterone).. my family doctor doesnt follow pregnancies, its a private clinic and basically someone else in her clinic follows me, and they have an emergency clinic that you can go to anytime.. thats how i got it.

Cd1! That was a 35 day cycle brought to you by inositol! So stoked! I never have cycles less than like 100 days. Yay :)

Great news Kyla! We are cycle buddies then - I'm CD1 too! My cycle this time was 37 days. Pretty happy with that even if I didn't ovulate. Fx'd I will this time.

I'm trying vaginal temps after AF too as I do snore which might have made my temps so erratic. Do I just 'stick it up there'? :haha:

Cycle buddies! I haven't been tracking ovulation as I'm not trying yet, but judging by signs I believe I did ovulate either cd 14/15 or cd20. Either one would give me a nice lutal phase. Come September I'll start temping and using the opks daily to get ready to start trying in January!

I think so yeah haha. Just stick it on up lol.
